Very hazy amber - gold beer, tidy white head. Semi crisp palate, fairly dry. Malt is somewhat tripel like but not as sweet. Touch of dry wood. Dry citrus with lemon peeping out, certainly not lemon dominant. Dry finish. Dry lemon aftertaste. Okay if over dry.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bubbly, too carbed, sweet & yeasty. Ginger and lemon wood show their respective faces, exemplifying a level of maturity not present in the initial offering of this brew. Much better than last time.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
750mL bottle, sent from LateStart (thanks Jordan), pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, a little wood, some citrus, and a bit of acidity. Flavour brings out notes of lemon, rotting wood, some ginger, light acidity, and an off-putting vegetal character. The flavours are quite off, with the rotting wood and vegetal qualities dominating. Quite a mess – maybe it’s because The Bruery were involved.

From notes - Tulip pour of hazed golden yellow-orange. Nose is orange peel with noticeable spices. Flavor is lemon, zesty and spicy, coriander, nutmeg.. Full-medium body, but still just a little too much for me.

Light orange with a foamy head. Lacey.Less funky than the cedar, yet still a farmhouse taste. Some funk aroma. Smooth and mellow despite the lemon. Yeast significant. Undercarbonated.
