On draft at Cigar City (entering old notes). Pours a somewhat hazy yellow gold with a white head. Nose is some malt, big citrus, wood, pith, and orange peel, rind, and flesh. Flavor is similar with some notes of grainy wood with all things orange. From skin, peel, rind, pith, and flesh to the wood it is grown from, this beer is all things orange. Light to medium in body and nice, with no indication that it’s 9%.

Aroma- Orangey, sweet, malty, Appearance- Hazy golden orange. White head that doesnt last. Taste- As odd as it is to say, it has a weird stale, day old and warm, orange juice flavor. It finished with some nice malt, and a slight spice Overall- Its not a bad beer, but its not great, and to me, not worth the money either. CC makes some great beers, but this one was a little off the mark.

On draft at release, poured a cloudy goden color with aromas of pretty much all citrus, some ginger, wood, and spice comes through, but mostly all citrus. Flavors are pretty much the same, the highlight is a citrusy orange flavor with some wood. Rather refreshing and doesn’t taste like a 9% beer, and I wish they bottled this one, this would be nice on a nice hot summers day.

On tap at the brewery. This was my wife’s favorite of the day and she ordered it on 2 separate samplers. It tastes of bitter orange peel, with floral, pepper, earth and other delightful qualities. Being my last moments in Florida this beer was nice send off.

Pours a clear gold. Nose orange, wood and grain. Flavor is orange juice, orange peel, unripe orange, the white stringy stuff around the pulp and inner wall of the orange.
