ekoerper (588) - Iowa, USA - JUN 7, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Adam. Aroma: strong notes of cedar, quite like sticking one’s head in a humidor, grapefruit, some pepper, floral, faint malt notes. Appearance: slightly murky light amber pour, fluffy white head with average retention, leaves a bit of lacing. Taste: cedar again sort of takes over, some spice and citrus as well, distinct farmhouse yeast dough/pepper notes, slight sweetness in the finish. Palate: medium body, medium-high carbonation. Overall: interesting brew, complex.
