Draft at Capone’s. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose was walnut, figgy fruit, vienna malt. Tasted malty, with notes of fruit, nuts, backup hops, and brown sugar.

On tap at Cigar City brewed up by none other than Retebeer’s amazing fishingnet. It has a murky dark amber body with big bubbled weak off white head. The mild aroma pulls up some roasty malts, a bit of black strap molasses and some spicy to earthy hops. The taste has pretty solid roasted malts to chocolate malt notes for such a small beer. Those notes are followed by modest burnt malts, growing earthiness and then sliding into spicy hops. Full flavored mild to be sure.

Entering old-rates. Draft @ CCB, cheers to the old Ybor cigar factory Lector.

Pours dark reddish brown with off white head, aroma has notes of roast, some smoke, touch of grass, earth, slight sour grain. Taste is nice sweet biscuity bread, roast, toasted bread, with some slight earth, grass, finishing slightly dry and bitter. Way too easy to drink.

Tap at Cigar City. Brownish pour with a nice frothy head. Lots of peanut in this - awesome for its style.

5/16/11. On tap at the brewery. Dark amber/brown with a creamy tan head that lasts and sticks to the glass. Mild roasted aroma with some hints of caramel. Flavor has some roast, chocolate, apple, but is really kinda light in general. Not too shabby.

Draft. Pours deep amber orange with a thin off white head. The aroma has light sweet malts with some toasty and nutty notes. The flavor is well balanced, with toasted malts, a light sweetness, and some floral hops. Decent.

Mini CC growler thanks to David. Pours a mostly clear purple color with some brown shades, a small white head. The aroma is sweet berries and biscuit malts. A nice smooth flavor akin to a brown ale with lots of fruit, dry, toast, a bit of chocolate and nuts. Very nice. Could we get this on tap in Utah, it’s only 4%?

Draft. Pours a hazy bruin body with an off white head. Dark fruit tones, light cherry notes and a malty body. Light nuts, chocolate malt tones, european style hops. Lightly bitter finish with a soft carbonation and a clean finish. Nice.

Tampa, Fl - on tap at the brewery tasting room. Dark copper pour, off-white head, nice lace. Pleasant, earthy, tea-like aroma. Flavor has some mild citrus, coffee, earthy with a nice underlying subtle bitterness - could sit and drink this all day - good session material. Clean mouthfeel. Solid.
