Copper, clean body and pretty much no head. Herbal, spices, vegetable and only a light red berry sweetness. Herbal and spice but unusually I like it here. Enough balancing sweetness. Bit sharp but great richness. (At ZZT V)

@ZZT V. Hazy orange with a small white head. Smells a herb like thyme or rosemary, lavender, floral. Tastes a lot of herbs and spices, very sweet. Warming, full body, soft carbo. Very much not a taste i like. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad beer or anything, but i really don’t like the taste and smell.

75cl bottle @ ZZT V. Shared by Joes. Hazy orange color, small off-white. Smell is absolutely not what I like in a beer: spices, herbs and peppery. Taste also has a lot of herbs and spices, and lightly sweet. Medium carbo, low to medium body.

bottle, from charity bottle auction at Triangle Wine. Ok aroma, getting the tequila and lime, less of the spice. brownish orange color, ok head that faded quick, no lace. sweet flavor, medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, spiced dryish finish, meh, not really grabbing me. The Tequila overwhelms the cream ale, probably intended, because otherwise why BA a cream ale. well, it was for a good cause....

Bottle (thanks to Daknole!)... Poured pale golden with a thin head. Nose had tequila with note that reminded me of a margarita. I guess that’s the concept though. Quite nice. Refreshing yet tones of malt sweetness to offer complexity. Lime, citrus, spice, barrel notes, and a hint of booze. Really wonderful and unique.

750ml bottle, shared by jcwattsrugger. I have to agree with John. The best beer of an afternoon of drinking on my patio. Pours a hazy orange gold with a finger of off white head. There’s a lot going on here. Aroma is rife with wood notes, lime, citrus and a good whiff of alcohol. Tequila is more obvious in the flavor. As the beer warmed a bit, you would have thought you were drinking a Margarita w/lime. I don’t know what cumin is, but I’m sure it’s in there. Palate was fairly modest with a bit of bitterness. Very nice, very nice indeed.

750ml bottle-thanks Joey-shared with mcox90&Torey, the highlight beer of the day-pours cloudy gold with a tight retaining offwhite head. and trailing lace. Aroma is tequila, spice, wood, light/medium malt, lime zest. Taste is tequila, spice, wood, light/medium malt-toasty, lime zest.

2012-08-18. Hazy dark orange, small beige head. 3+ Odd aroma, sort of woody, odd vaguely spicey quality? Presumably a bit of the tequila influence? (Or more likely the cumin which I didn’t realize was in there at the time.) 6+ Flavour is a bit rough with an odd melange of wood, tequila and spice like character. Dry malt. 6+ Average plus bodied palate. Okay, its a bit rough all around and not really to my taste. Bottle, Campground Brewdown 2012 shared by MaxxDaddy

75cl, no mention of ABV, new exclusive American brew Anno 2012, with cumin, thx to Jeppe!, complex brew, spicy/alcoholic and slightly woody/sweet, heavy, not balanced, cloudy, good head, nice brew, yet very expensive!

Had this at the Campground Brewdown “thanks” to Max. Pours a hazy amber color. Smells like spicy corn. The cumin is huge which I initially think isn’t bad as I love cumin. My mouth waters, and then my stomach clenches, very disconcerting. Weird barrel notes. Induces spitting immediately. Gross, almost puked drinking this. Why would someone do this? Horrible and difficult.
