750ml bottle, shared by jcwattsrugger. I have to agree with John. The best beer of an afternoon of drinking on my patio. Pours a hazy orange gold with a finger of off white head. There’s a lot going on here. Aroma is rife with wood notes, lime, citrus and a good whiff of alcohol. Tequila is more obvious in the flavor. As the beer warmed a bit, you would have thought you were drinking a Margarita w/lime. I don’t know what cumin is, but I’m sure it’s in there. Palate was fairly modest with a bit of bitterness. Very nice, very nice indeed.

Pours clear golden with a nice foamy white head... decent enough lacing. Nose is chock full of cumin... agave/tequila are lesser players... a bit of lime zest puts the whole thing together with a pretty heavy hand of pale malt. Pretty sweet from front to back... the cumin again comes in right up front and lingers through the finish... agave/tequila are there but not really that heavy... limes are there as an afterthought. Light carbonation accentuated a heavier body... No real booziness, but not really that drinkable IMO.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, slightly hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big lime, tequila, oak, and salty notes, hints of the spicy notes come through with cumin, coriander, nice white fruits as well go into biscuit and bread. Taste is a mix of big lime, tequila and oaky tones, slight white fruit into biscuit , bread, spice comes through with a touch of yeast, finishing fairly lime-forward.

75oml bottle. Dulled hazy orange-tan body. Thin head. Odd agave tequila and smooth brown malt. Quite sugary. Boozy finish. OK, but in no way sessionable.

Bottle shared by Mike. Weird beer. It tasted very much like a shot of tequila. Strong menthol notes with mild sweet spice. Not getting any citrus. There’s just too much tequila and menthol here to get anything else.

Bottle shared at DLD 2012 and 2013, I combined my rating into one: Pours a hazed orangy golden hue with a fading head, spotty lace. The aroma has notes of agave, kaffir lime leaves, pepper, resiny and dank hops, leather, and some floral herbs qualities. The taste is moderately fruity and citric acid tones with a light biscuity and earthy supporting cast. Got plenty of tequila on the boozy finish. Faint wood and bitterness along with warming spicy notes. The mouth feel is quite odd, sprite and lively with aggressive warming but seems thin and must say a tad boring. I was left less than impressed by this brew both times.
