Huge thanks to PapFather. Pitch black with a medium deep beige head. Sweet aroma with coffee, hard roasted malt, dark chocolate and vanilla. Flavor was ever so smooth with burned malt, dark rich chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Finished balanced not the slightest to sweet. Lovely!

Handbottle 50 cl. Courtesy of TheCheeseMan. Pours pitch black with a brownish head. The nose is rich in hard roast, but also vanilla and and unusual coffee note AND a manure touch! Solid body, hard roast, coffee yes but not overly ashy, a little sweet vanilla accents and a slight tartness as can sometimes be found in very hard roasted beers. Some malt astringency. A lovely and unusual Imperial Stout - thanks Dan! 150311

(Draught at GABF) black as hell, dark tan bubbles, and coats the glass like motor oil. Nose of sweet coffee, so rich, caramel, cinnamon and fudge. Wow this is one of the best smelling beers ever. Taste of fudge, espresso, cigar tobacco, vanilla, so roasty, fresh, and lots of ground coffee beans. The body is thick. This is just one AWESOME beer and the line at GABF proves everyone else thought so too.
