COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Pours a cloudy grapefruit. Citrus aromas. Well made Belgian style wit bier, one of my favorites.

Tasted from can. Pours a pale yellow with a thick white bubbly head, slightly cloudy. Definite aroma of belgian yeast with wheat, grass, grains. Taste is robust in belgian yeast with grainy wheat taste. A little lemony zest. Light to medium bodied with sweet stickiness on the palate. Little to no bitterness. Not the best cigar city beer but as usual excellent for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a murky light golden color with a pale white head. Carbonation bubbles continuously migrate from the bottom to feed a scattered pattern atop the beer. A chalky, mildly spicy, rough-peeled orchard apple, green grape, and honeydew melon bouquet. Lively mouthfeel. Moderately funky flavor, some earthiness, tart fruit. Not the greatest. Certainly for CCB.

12 oz can. Pours hazy golden with long lasting, foamy, white head. Aroma is of spices, barnyard yeast, wheat malt and crackers. Body is medium and crisp. Spices, citrus fruit, bready malt, funky yeast fill the mouth. Finish is long, semi-dry. Interesting brew, kind of Saison meets Wit.

It’s ok, but not one of my fav whites. Poured at a good temperature with a smallish off-white head that vanishes quickly and no lace. Color is a hazy/cloudy yellow. Aroma is yeast, citrus peel, spice, malt. Flavor’s like nose, tang in front along with some bitter, then the other qualities. As it warms more citrus peel comes out. The combination of tang and bettering agents yields a reaction on the back of the tongue that isn’t that pleasant; other than that body/carbonation are decent. Finish is like flavor, fairly long, and while not bad, Ike hooegardens much more.

Can: kind of weird color, somewhere between straw & yellow with darker hues & a hefty haze all around; grungy, unfiltered like a wit should be. Skull-white head that grows tall, then bellies up almost instantly. Aroma has notes of clove, coriander, spice, bubblegum, light wheat... Your typical wit aromas with a moderate amount of noticeable Belgian yeast & breadiness. Taste is light, with orange peel & lemon zest added to the mix along with more clove & coriander spice. Finish of moderate perfume-y hops & a musky, corky, wet woody funk in the finish. Not really off-putting, just unexpected for the style... Perhaps a consequence of the yeast strain? Listed as a wit, smells like a wit, tastes more like a toned down Belgian pale of another nature. Not bad.

Can from Total Wine in Orlando somewhere. Pours hazy golden-orange hue, little foam, decent effervescence coming up from bottom though. Aroma is all funky pale malt and yeast... Maybe with a touch of lemon. Spices and citrus come through in the taste, plenty of lemon orange, pineapple and more to go around. Even some white pepper in there too, and the coriander, of course. Well balanced, sweet and spicy, Lots of character for such a light brew. Rises, mostly, to the level I expect of CCB.

Can. In Orlando. Thanks M-law. Goldish color. Aroma is big coriander, some orange peel, and some spicy Belgium yeast. Above average carbonation. Pretty tasty. For a Belgium white.

Pour from can - thanks, Jeff! Despite the warning I didn’t pour it at all carefully, and made sure the shake the can up good before opening it. Pour was unsurprisingly cloudy, almost grey-brown, with white, soapy head. Aroma of banana and citrus. Taste: banana, orange, wheat, and a lot of pepper. Palate: Light body, crisp with a short, dry peppery finish.
