COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Draft at Sybarite Pig. Tulip. Light yellow with significant haze. White frothy head. Not much lacing. Solid wheat beer aroma with a grapefruit and passion fruit overtone. Taste of wheat, citrus, coriander and yeasts. Fun wishes dry but very refreshing. Very good wit beer.

Can into plastic cup at the beach, not ideal but can’t beat the scene. Hazy pale golden color with white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, coriander and bready-like malt. Taste is the aroma adding specific notes of lemon, orange zest, pepper notes and some other spices I can’t pin. Light body, moderate carbonation, somewhat bitter with a dry finish. Perfect drink for this moment, tasty summer drinking.

Can from Salt Rock Grill in Indian Shores, FL. Not a bad beer, and probably something I could enjoy on the beach, but really kinda bland otherwise.

12 oz can. Pours a hazy golden straw color with a thin white head. Lots of active carbonation. Aroma of coriander, citrus, and dough. Very refreshing. Light and fresh. Taste of coriander, citrus peel, bread yeast, lemon, and a bit of spice. Kind of a sour dry finish. Thank UncleMattie!

Pale yellow color out of the can with a large beaten egg white head. Spicy nose with bitter orange notes and a nice yeast presence. This is a dry beer with bitter orange peel and coriander spice flavors. It is a pretty traditional Belgian wit and is quite refeshing.

can. pours hazed straw yellow with foamy white head. nose has wheat malt, slight orange and pepper also noted. flavors have wheat malt, peppery, thin mouth feel, bit generic tasting and not a very good example of the style. I assume rather crushable in the florida heat.

I'm diggin' this. Very saison like. Strong Belgian, saison aroma. Carbonated like an old country beer too -- as in very. Taste is saison yeasty base, with requisite spiciness and some (Florida?) citrus notes on top. Quite nice! At 5% ABV, a good session -- or a good brew when you have to drive 400 miles the next day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
