COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

From a can shared at home. Pours dark yellow with a thin white head but lots of carbonation. Aroma of peach. Soft mouthfeel. Refreshing flavors of citrus zest and coriander. Crisp, clean finish. Would definitely be a sessionable beer on a warm sunny day.

Can from GOT. Thanks J! Pours a thick, chunky orange with a nose of coriander, dough, and fresh apple. Flavor is a swirl of coriander, orange peel, and sweet dough. Nice and chunky on the tongue. GREAT beer.

Can shared by snoworsummer and sonnycheeba. Pours hazy yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is spicy and fruity wheat with orange peel notes, coriander and lavender. Flavor is malt forward with moderate spices and orange, and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

Can. Pours hazy golden yellow with a small creamy white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of lemon, wheat, yeast, spices. Flavor much the same, orange zest, coriander. Light body. Pretty well crafted, just not my style

My Bottom Line:
Peppery spices and delicate oranges dwell within this Witbier’s crisp and spritzy mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the cloudy pale yellow.
-This is just perfect for the local weather. Not a spice soup, thankfully.
-Drinkability is very high and body appropriately lean.
-This doesn’t reek of coriander, which is appreciated. So many North American Witbiers are overwhelming on that front, imho.

Can.

12oz canned December 28, 2012. Served at around 40F. Thanks to Mark for this gift.

Pours lightly hazy gold with a two finger white head that recedes to a light cap and doesn’t leave much lacing behind.

Aroma is pink bubblegum, banana, coriander/spice, some lemon and citrus, wheat/grainy, Belgian yeast. Good to very good strength.

Flavor is lemon citrus, some sweet fruity malt, spice/coriander, Belgian yeast, minimal alcohol, moderate sweetness, mild to moderate bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, somewhat sticky, good to sharp carbonation.

Pretty good Wit, although admittedly not a style I normally seek out.

Can. Pours hazy pale yellow with average, creamy white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is bread and cookie malts, Belgian yeast, candy sugar, pears, floral and grassy hops, and light herbs. Flavor is bready malts forward, light fruit esters, floral hops, herbs, and light yeast; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
