The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Clove and creamy banana confectionary aroma. Poured with vigorous big-bubbled carbonation fizzing through a hazy honey-coloured beer into a white frothy head that was not persistent. That banana carries on into the flavour but overriding is the tangy juiciness of this beer - very refreshing. Looking for complexity... a little creamy in the mouth, yet dryish, biscuity finish. No alcohol detected. A light, enjoyable juicy and easy drinking beer.

Draft. Poured a hazy yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was some spice notes, wheat and some coriander/pepper notes, with a touch of yeast character working it’s magic on this. Flavor was light citrus notes, malt backing. Easy to drink, not overly carbonated.

Can @ home. Thanks, Jacob. Hazy golden pour with a fluffy white head. Smells more citrusy than expected, quite peppery as well. Biscuit, dough, and lots of cracker malt. A nice yeasty quality and somewhat floral. Mild fruit esters. Flavor is pleasantly sweet and malty. Nice biscuit and dough chewiness. Hints of lemon, apple, banana, and orange. Peppery bite and bitterness on the finish.

Can. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Cloudy yellow with a white foamy head. Spicy coriander aroma with wheat and lots of orange peels and light earthy notes. Sweetish and tart flavor, wheaty, spicy and citric. Rather light-bodied, lively carbonation. Very refreshing.

x cl sample, thanks veliemboys. Pours a hazy golden colour with a small head. Aroma of juicy fruitiness, clove and tangy citrus. Flavour is very juicy and refreshing with tangy citrus, herbal hoppiness and quite mellow caramel sweetness. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Refreshing and highly drinkable. Great stuff. I wish I had more.

Aroma is high on soapy citrus. Quite nothing else; perhaps some pineapples and peaches. Flavour has also soapy citrus, pineapple juice, some coriander and distant herbal tones. Quite typical witbier ( = succesful Belgian clone.) Perhaps slightly more fruity than Belgian wits usually are.
