COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Aroma is doughy, some earth, a little spices - but slight in nature. Appearance is a somewhat hazy with a pale gold. Head setup, but fell fast. It went from frothy withe to almost non-existent. No lacing either. Taste is somewhere between soft and doughy and sour. There are other notes that are difficult to discern, spices and a very, very faint tobacco which could be the coriander. The feel is pleasant - medium bodied, with a fizzy carbonation, and complex dry finish. The scores on the applicable traits miss to really note how enjoyable this beer is. It is different than other Belgian Whites that I’ve had and it’s really enjoyable. 1st Cigar City & 1st FL beer. Interested in seeing what else they have to offer.

Can from Whole Foods Plymouth Meeting. Pours turbid dark straw with 2-finger fluffy white head and a loudness to the head, which says to me, "The Steelers got screwed, and the Chargers shouldn’t even be in the playoffs:. I agree, head. Nose is white aley hopcitrus, coriandery spice. Tastes hoppy and crisply citrus, with mid-palate coriander and a finishing yeasty, spicy, mildly funky note.
