3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This pours a hazy straw into the glass with a fully diminished head that leaves no lacing. The nose is of hay and some grassiness. Lots of citrus and esters to the tongue, with some grain and cracker in the mid-palate, finishing grassy. The palate is perfect for summer, with subtle carbonation and a very easy drinking mouthfeel. another reason to give it up to Cigar City for making some of the best beer in the country. Prost!

Extremely drinkable. Light and highly carbonated. Strong citrus notes. Somewhat complex for such a light beer. I would buy agin

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from 12 oz. can.
The initial pour is almost entirely a huge foamy near white head. This eventually settles to yield a cloudy yellow liquid topped by a small head with sparse lacing.
Aroma of lemony citrus, pepper, wheat and coriander.
Taste of lemon, coriander, wheat, pepper, yeast, orange peel and banana.
Light/medium body and medium carbonation. Although light, the body is OK for a lemony beer like this.
I guess I'm just not a fan of "refreshing" beers. I've had far better witbiers that did not remind me of lemonade.
