COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Poured from 12 oz. can. The initial pour is almost entirely a huge foamy near white head. This eventually settles to yield a cloudy yellow liquid topped by a small head with sparse lacing. Aroma of lemony citrus, pepper, wheat and coriander. Taste of lemon, coriander, wheat, pepper, yeast, orange peel and banana. Light/medium body and medium carbonation. Although light, the body is OK for a lemony beer like this. I guess I'm just not a fan of "refreshing" beers. I've had far better witbiers that did not remind me of lemonade. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shaker pint draft at the Cigar City Airport Pub in Tampa, Florida. The pour is a cloudy yellow white with a smallish white head. The aroma is lemon citrus coriander along with general Belgian spice. The taste is the grain wheat along with citrus peel and the Wit yeast. Above average spicing. The palate is light bodied, unfiltered mouthfeel soft carbonation and a wheat grain and grass finish. Solid.
