COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

12oz can poured into shaker pint. Hazy yellow liquid with a modest one-finger head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing. Aroma is lemon and orange peel, dusty wheat, and coriander. Taste is similar with citrus sweetness and some spicy bite. Light body, thin texture, moderate carbonation, abrupt drying finish.

Hazy medium bodied Witbier with refreshing citrus flavors. The Saison yeast gives Cracker a unique taste. A well rounded canned beer.

Can: The aroma consists of light banana, citrus, coriander/spice, and orange peel. It pours hazy dull golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of wheat, faint citrus, and a hint of banana. The finish has coriander, lemon, and a touch of orange peel. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation.

One of the best wit beers i ever had, without being a typical one. Nice sharp aromas with a twist of sourness in taste. Very nice beer.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright yellow color with a huge creamy-fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dryish cracker, pepper, lemon, coriander and dust. The flavor was tart lemon, pepper, dust, cracker and had a sour and astringent presence. Long sour lemon finish. Medium body. Ok.

Can at Swan and Dolphin, Orlando, 11th November 14. Not bad for the style, lots of flavour and was refreshing, did not get too much coriander
