COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Not your average wheat beer but a refreshing beverage with that familiar CCB taste. Has a nice citrus quality.

On draft at Cigar City Tasting Room. I was expecting a run-of-the-mill white just to satisfy the people who are clamoring for lower-ABV beers. This is not a run-of-the-mill white. Pours a thick, mealy yellow with a white head. Without feeling the weight and seeing the head, I would think it was a yellow milkshake. Nose is a burst of citrus flavor, sugared lemons, and hints of spice. Flavor is similar with off-the-scale drinkability. When you look up lawnmower beer, this is the picture you should see. Impressive.

12oz white with blue, can. Pours hazy yellow gold color. White fizz. Aroma of coriander, dried citrus peel, and (ironically) a small hint of unsalted crackers. Active carbonation. Tastes like airy pale malts, bread, coriander. Finishes with bread flavor. Too bad I can’t drink these Bloating Belgian style beers anymore. (3715)

Can into tulip. Yellow body, slightly hazy, golden hue. Thick, bubbly, fluffy head. Sweet Pils malts, bready, lemon zest, clean. Carbonation and spice leave a lingering dryness. A relatively clean, full-flavored beer with the rough mouthfeel of wheat balancing with the sweet malt profile. Yeast adds character while staying in the background.

I'm diggin' this. Very saison like. Strong Belgian, saison aroma. Carbonated like an old country beer too -- as in very. Taste is saison yeasty base, with requisite spiciness and some (Florida?) citrus notes on top. Quite nice! At 5% ABV, a good session -- or a good brew when you have to drive 400 miles the next day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A really good witbier with nice spice notes, clean citrus flavors, and good crisp malty body. Fantastic beer, extremely drinkable and tasty to boot.

I'm not a big fan of many summer beers but this summer ale was fantastic has a nice citrus tone to it and a full body seldom found in the many summer style ales that I've tasted lately ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light and hazy straw yellow, minimal head goes away quickly. Lots of wheat smell here, crisp and clean. A little bubblegum flavor with some banana. I also Get the coriander in there. Lots of carbonation working here, making it very refreshing and easy to drink. I didn’t expect this to be this solid of a Belgian White, one of the better ones I’ve had in sometime.
