COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Thanks to tastybeer for the Christmas present. This was a very fine sessionable beer with the bonus that it comes in a can. If something like this were available locally it would be perfect for camping, mowing the lawn, or picnics. Drink it fresh and you will have a great time.

Aroma / Appearance - Pouring with a huge pillowy head this collapses into a golden carbonated base. The stark white head that reminds is like a dusting of snow. White pepper, bubblegum, and fruity esters sparkle with a light feel.

Flavor / Palate - Light hints of bubblegum brighten the mood before bananas and white pepper tickle the throat. A doughy finish tastes like liquid bread shots. The mildly bitter finish fades quickly. This is an ideal session beer that would not last long in the fridge.

Decent wit. Notes of coriander and spice are mild but enough to distinguish Fairly light in the mouth makes this a highly drinkable beer, especially in hot weather..

Nice overall Belgian white. Coriander and some slight spice. Maybe slight light palate but a refreshing beer. Nothing mind blowing, but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a thin white head that quickly dissipates. Light with a hint of orange.

Can into goblet. Looks like it should. Spicy peppery aroma - you can smell the saison yeast. Taste is as you would expect from the deScription- combo of wheat and saison. Not too tart. Decent hybrid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is way above the average wheat beers out there. You can definitely tell they used a saison yeast in this one. Super bready, spicy and sweet. You get hints of the coriander, but it’s not overpowering. Just compliments the beer. This is super refreshing and could get dangerous, it’s so easy to drink. Highly recommended.

Poured can. Cloudy straw in the glass. Head dies quickly, some fast lacing. Nose is citrus wheat. Palate follows suit to style, lemon up front, wheat balance through the middle. Finish has a little tart lemon. Coriander bounces around in there.

Picked up a six of this in cans at Trader Joe’s in St Pete and very glad I did. I liked this beer a lot as it worked in many ways. Light enough to be an easy drinker on the beach without being wimpy. Spicy enough to hold its own with some thai food. And just really well balanced with wheat, orange and spice. If it had just a tang of lemon tartness I’d call it perfect.
