12 ounce can
Thanks to tastybeer for the Christmas present. This was a very fine sessionable beer with the bonus that it comes in a can. If something like this were available locally it would be perfect for camping, mowing the lawn, or picnics. Drink it fresh and you will have a great time.
Aroma / Appearance - Pouring with a huge pillowy head this collapses into a golden carbonated base. The stark white head that reminds is like a dusting of snow. White pepper, bubblegum, and fruity esters sparkle with a light feel.
Flavor / Palate - Light hints of bubblegum brighten the mood before bananas and white pepper tickle the throat. A doughy finish tastes like liquid bread shots. The mildly bitter finish fades quickly. This is an ideal session beer that would not last long in the fridge.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottom of the can stamped 10/15/14.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color glossing underneath a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated leaving some light clingy lacing sliding quickly into the beer.
The smell had a sweet citrus, sweet cracker, light tangerine and a little bit of yeasty goodness all combining nicely.
The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors to blend nicely. A light sweet citrus/yeasty aftertaste bleeds into the finish somewhat dry.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation was a little more subdued than most witbiers but I’m thinking that’s probably the age of it that may have caused that.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good witbier that I would love to try again and preferably fresh.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours like it should in the glass: a cloudy canola yellow with a thin slice of white foam. Nice in the nose but nicer on the tongue. Orange peels, sharp wheat & coriander spice dominate. What i like most is it avoids the mis-guided North American trend to turn the style into a spice bomb. Reminds me most of blanche de chambly from Quebec. Goes down so well in the Florida sunshine & makes me forget that I’ve only slept 9 hours in two days. Recommended.

Can. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy white head that lasts leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is wheat, fruity malt, and citrus. Thin mouth with strong wheat, citrus, banana, crisp and crushable, very nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can at home while visiting Jacksonville. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma has light white pepper, light yeast, lemon, white bread, light clove... Light to medium body, medium to full carbonation. Light white pepper, lemon, light orange, very light clove... Nice balance, and easy drinking though it'll never be my favorite style. Crisp and refreshing. Nice.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. can, consumed on 2-17-15. Sharp, tart, lemony, salty, slightly sour, almost briny, yeasty aroma. Quite nice smell. Orange peel scent. Pours a hazy, cloudy brass or yellowish gold with a moderate amount of off-white head. Light effervescence. Pretty good lacing. Looks good. In the final pour, it’s opaque from cloudiness. Very wheaten, yeasty, milky, dry taste. Tastes more like a hefeweizen than a wit except for the citric tartness. Lemon and a touch of dry spice in the flavor. Slightly mineral. Dry finish and aftertaste. Light to medium body. Fillingly frothy and grainy in the palate. One of the better wheat beers I’ve had. Seems more German than Belgian in influence. Complex and well above average for the style.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. can. Pours a clear straw color with a thick white head. Aroma is primarily sour with a touch of spice. Medium body, plenty of carbonation, the wheat malt is strong, but there’s a bit of the Orange and coriander coming through. The sour taste persists through the finish. Good beer.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A nice straw colored beer with a small white head. Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. Has a great citrus flavor that goes well with the Belgian white style.
