The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quáqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Aroma has a nice zest and spice that is light and refreshing. Pours with a large white head and a slightly opaque orange yellow body. Taste is zesty and slightly sweet, but not too sweet. Palate is slightly thin, but too thick might make it a but off.

GABF 2015. They got the spice right, coriander, some grains of paradise. Cloudy yellow color and lightly sweet wheat flavors. A lot of brewers can’t do this style but they got it right.

can. cloudy white under a small white head. a pretty typical white beer aroma...maybe a little on the citrusy tart side. carbonated seems lower than what i’m used to in the style. medium bodied, lots of flaked product, light vanilla, some pithy lemony bitterness.

Cloudy in appearance, mostly traditional wheat beer aroma worth a hint of orange. Coriander is overpowering to the taste, with hints of something else but you can’t identify as vanilla. Still drinkable. Tap.
