This high-gravity gob of gourd-y goodness incorporates pumpkin in the mashing process and then gets wicked with the spices including Ceylon cinnamon, Jamaican all spice, Zanzibar cloves and nutmeg.

Beautiful orange appearance, a beautiful spicy aroma...extremely well balanced such this is neither subtle or overbearing. Just blended wonderfully...like a Bordeaux from France, the spices are mixed perfectly.Again CCB comes up with another winner !,,

One of the best pumpkin beers that I have had. Has a very nice pumpkin taste, with spices and nutmeg flavor as well. Very drinkable, and full of flavor, can always count of Cigar city for a great brew.

Poured from a 750 ML bottle. Pours the color of sweet potatoes/pumpkin...go figure. Very little, thin white head. Aroma is nutmeg, lots of cloves and and just a bit of cinnamon. Taste follows the nose with tons of clove and nutmeg. This is a decent pumpkin beer, but not the finest I have had before.

Draft. Poured cloudy orange copper color with a large off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid doughy pumpkin pie spice aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy balanced pumpkin pie spice flavor with a medium spice sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good seasonal beer.

Bottle shared thanks to Dmac/his bro-in-law via Capones. Pours out a moderate orange color with a small off white head. Aroma is of some light pumpkin, lots of spice and some lingering sweetness. Taste is a rather subdued pumpkin taste with the spices taking over the palate with a little sweetness to balance. Body a bit watery. Not a bad pumpkin, but not blown away.

Sampled from a 750 ml bottle @ FFF 15th Anniversary. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma is moderately sweet with pumpkin, allspice, nutmeg and a slight earth quality. The flavor is malty, pumpkin, allspice, nutmeg with light herbal notes and mild bitterness at the finish. Pretty smooth and creamy mouth feel. I thought this was an easy drinking pumpkin beer, but nothing really stood out here.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of pumpkin, spice, nutmeg, and slight cinnamon. Poured orange in color with a small, creamy, loose, tan head that greatly diminished, except for around the edges. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, pumpkin, spice, and a hint of alcohol. Medium body. Slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Pumpkin, malt, spice, and nutmeg finish is lightly dry. 8.5%ABV is noticeable in the flavor, but not overbearing.

750 ml bottle from Capones. Poured an orange/brown with a smaller fizzy off white head. Aroma is far more spice dominated then pumpkin. Notes of cinnamon, all-spice, nutmeg, dry caramel, brown toast. Medium bodied that has a creamy feel and soft to average carbonation. Flavor has some slight toasted pumpkin seeds along with caramel, toast, nutmeg and clove. Not bad but this is not a 3.7 beer.

Bottle shared with Steve and co, courtesy of markwise. Thanks Mark! Burnt orange/brown appearance with an off white head. Aroma is fairly spicy with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, mild vanilla, allspice, and moderate pumpkin. Easy drinking flavor with a good pumpkin presence and moderate to high spiciness- again nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, and allspice.
