Giant cell phones. White pantsuits. Reagonomics. The 80′s was all about excess. We tip our neon trilby hats to mentality with this beer. Not satisfied with the amount of guava in our Guava Grove saison, we doubled the amount of fruit in Guava Grove to create a truly radical beer fit for any dude or dudette. Totally tubular!

Bottle, courtesy Travlr. Weird drinking Florida beer via a non-Floridian, but there is a first time for everything: Pour is hazy orange/gold with a nice white head. Decent retention/lacing. Aroma is guava, floral/citrus hops, fruity esters, grain. Taste is guava, grapefruit, pineapple, cereal, dry finish. Palate is clean, dry, oily, long fruity finish. I prefer the original.

Bottle shared by Travlr. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, fizzy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is guava, light cereal and meal, grapefruit notes, fruity esters, no hops. Flavor is malt with heavy fruit, guava, citrus hops, and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2011 Bottle from the source, courtesy of....me! Thanks. Cloudy light amber, large off white head. Aroma of slightly fetid grapefruit, white pepper. Taste is bitter fruit and pineapple core. Abrasive but interesting.

750 ml bottle shared from Ben. Thanks! Pours a murky golden dulled hue, touches of amber, well hazed with a frothy offwhite head that dies to a decent film. Aromas are guava fruit, a touch tart, juicy with dry bready malts, touches of yeast, light dry florals and grass. A touch floral and juicy. But simple, with some hay and grass, light and mellow. Initial is a smack of guava, mellow fruit, into dry yeast and bread, juicy guava, a touch sweet and tart. Some mellow yeast, touch of dry yeast, and some light sun tan lotion, florals. Interesting, a bit bland and forgettable finish. A more juicy front, moving into a dry bready malt finish. A bit vibrant up front tailing into a forgettable finish. Meh. Compared to the original it just isnít worth it.. But itís drinkable and certainly not bad.

Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a hazy orange gold with a light tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of guava that was dominate and backed by a bit of flora and light grains. Flavor has a really nice guava note that grows with out much else but a bit of backing flora.

Nice copper peach colored pour with a head that fizzled quick. Awesome aroma amazingly similar to Sauvignon Blanc with tart pears and apricots hit with some grainy doughy malt and of course guava! Thick body, Tart but not overly so with strong flavor of Guava (duh!). Definite yeast earthiness but very pleasant Moderately dry finish with that lingering tart zing! It is refreshing but not light. I had Grove a while ago but the Groove is something to try!

750ml Bottle: Got in trade from biggsbowler; THANKS Randall! Aroma of guava and fruit. Poured a muddy orange/peach color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes of guava, tropical fruits, and some sugar. Light to medium body. Thinish, tingly, then dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Heavily sweet, guava and fruit finish is dry.

Pour from a groovy labeled bottle thanks to mat in Florida. Color was a golden slight orange with a white modest head. The nose was banana yeast like esters. Medium mouthfeel with an appropriate level of carbonation. Moderate tart quality. Somewhat subdued guava presence and was expecting alot more. Some under stated hop bitterness which you expect with a good saison. Finish was on the drier side with the guava flavors lingering well. Good beer.

Bottle... Medium golden orange great color, a light tan head, lasts forever... Smells outstanding, tons of guava, sweet but acid citrus, a bit of malt and funk, great combo... Guava fruit juice, its great but a touch over carbonated
