Giant cell phones. White pantsuits. Reagonomics. The 80′s was all about excess. We tip our neon trilby hats to mentality with this beer. Not satisfied with the amount of guava in our Guava Grove saison, we doubled the amount of fruit in Guava Grove to create a truly radical beer fit for any dude or dudette. Totally tubular!

Sample from bottle. It pours cloudy amber, with a thin white head. The nose is fruit salad sweets, floral and tropical fruit - pineapple, orange, mango and guava. The taste is very fruity - orange, pineapple, guava, floral, dough, earth and a touch of spice. Medium body and moderate carbonation. An enjoyable fruity saison.

Sample courtesy of Mr garvie, cheers Craig! Hazy pale amber with tart tropical fruits nose, with some yeast esters. Refreshing with juicy papaya, yeast spiciness and robust malt.

In bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with a thin white head. A barnyard aroma with lemon, white pepper, mango and guava. Similar flavours with a fruity guava and starfruit quality before a dry saison yeast finish. Very highly carbonated with a foamy mouth-feel. Not bad.

Bottle courtesy of cgarvieuk at the Danish Invasion tasting. Clear orangey gold colour with a thick frothy white head. Big saison funk, black pepper and yeast esters with a massive sharp fruitiness (guava?) also. Nice juicy tropical front, big grapefruit, dry yeastiness, sherbet fizz, ultra-dry, big juiciness and a touch of sour with a lovely, drying guava bitter finish. Far too fizzy, but still tasty.

bottle 11/25/11 black friday tasting. golden orange color with an off white head. surprising amount of guava on the nose.... mixed with black peppery spice, yeast, alcohol and something vegetal. the flavor is the same but with added notes of dried apricots, cardboard and a tart finish... something in here just doesn’t work for me.... it is a bit on the sweeter side but i can look past that...old bottle maybe? the carbonation is fizzy and proper. 6/4/5/3/13

The beer is sort of orange in color with a tall white head. A really nice fruitiness to the nose. Lots of banana and guava to be found. Pretty decent amount of yeast to it as well. Sweet malt (mostly bread) can also be found. There is a mild but noticeable acidity throughout the flavor. A touch of lemon to go along with banana and guava fruit notes. Sweet bread along with yeast and a touch of sugar to it as well.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours pinkish orange with fizzy white head. Aroma has lots of citrus and farmhouse notes. Flavor has nice fruity/citrus esters with a nice pepper alcohol spiciness, with off-dry finish. Mouthfeel is light-medium body with high fizzy carbonation. Overall, tasty brew!

Bottle from Biggsbowler, shared at a local tasting.
Maybe it’s just me, but I guava is not a staple fruit in my regular diet. I’m not sure if I knew what guava tasted like before this beer. However, after sampling this beer, there is no longer any doubt in my mind as to what guava tastes like. This was extremely fruity, dominated by what I’m assuming is guava, with some addition spices, and yeast. Low sourness and acidity. Smooth texture and easy finish. A unique, refreshing beer.
