Giant cell phones. White pantsuits. Reagonomics. The 80′s was all about excess. We tip our neon trilby hats to mentality with this beer. Not satisfied with the amount of guava in our Guava Grove saison, we doubled the amount of fruit in Guava Grove to create a truly radical beer fit for any dude or dudette. Totally tubular!

Bottle shared @ BF ’11 tasting. Clear 14 karat pour with a small eggshell head. Flavor shows lots of tropical influences including guava, papaya, mango, and even a hint of coconut along with yeasty bread, toffee, crushed black pepper, banana, pear, and herbal qualities. Wish everything melded better together...nothing really stood out or took center stage. Good but not great.

Pours a clear golden/amber with a huge foamy lt tan head...lively...nice lacing and retention. definite guava in the aroma...some nice spice...pepper...mildly herbal. Flavor has loads of guave but nice spice and herbal notes to cut the sweetness...slightly musty. Mouthfeel is light and very lively and the finish is dry and spicy with guava in the aftertaste. Just a strange flavor...not bad at all...just strange.

Cloudy orange pour with a big fizzy, thin white head. Lots and lots of carbonation. Aroma was very spicy, yeasty and fruity. Flavors had all of the standard saison flavors mixed in with a well rounded fruit presence, some pepper. Lots of yeasty influence with a light bitter finish. Enjoyable for sure. Share it.

750 ml bottle via trade, thanks Jason. Poured an apple cider body underneath a large foamy white head. Aroma of guava, oranges, tropical fruits, wet bread, zest and rind of citurs fruits. Fuller bodied with loads of carbonation and a lingering bite on the finish. Flavor isn’t as good as the aroma sort of dirty and earthy with some citrus and guava along with pepper and slight spiceyness. Blah this is so-so.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2011 750ml bottle courtesy of John.... Pours a hazy, semi-opaque, reddish copper brown and topped with a creamy white head... Fruity aroma guava and bright semi-tart fruit. Lasting fruity impression... Flavors are an exact continuation of the same with vivid notes of guava. Sweet upfront, through the middle, and a dry finish. Body is light to medium but refreshing.
