COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Guava Grove is a farmhouse ale that sees a secondary fermentation on one of Tampa’s favored fruits, guava. Pairs well with fresh fish, mussels, fresh tropical fruits, and earthy cheeses.

Wow! First sip reminded me of a Flemish sour. Definetly a distinct tartness with a crisp finish. Nice hint of guava and some other tropical flavors. Looks like a wheat beer in the glass.

Pulpy yellow orange pour. Taste is like a sweet light guava juice with carbonation. Closer to a summer shandy like fruit beer than I would expect from CCB

c/o a Trade with Jimsal27. Thanks again! Aroma - a champagne like quality, that Brettanomyces yeast and it’s sort of all there was. Deep underneath it is a honey like aroma Appearance - body color is an orange amber; liquid is cloudy with some nucleation as well; this beer has a 1" off-white head Taste - taste is a little honey, Brettanomyce yeast, some honey-like drupe fruits Palate - body is light to medium; texture on the thin side; carbonation is very lively; the finish is rather abrupt.

Bottle sample thanks to Kraddel. Clouded amber coloured. Sour fruity aroma and taste. Little bitterness. Refreshing.

Bottle thnx to Beerlover_Ben Pours clear blonde. big white head fades fast . Smell is full , fruity . Taste is fruity, bitter, bit sweet , fruity ( fleshy fruity like mango’s ) Way to much carbonation . Good one, nice fruityness , but should be better with less carbo .

The addition of guava to the farmhouse ale gives it a sour, fruity characteristic. Easy to drink and delicious.

Flaske 0,75l. Påspandert og delt med flere under seanse på Tårnrommet 16 Apr 13. Aprikosfarget. Veldig uklar. Spøkelsesskyer. Lavt skum. God krydderaroma. Smaken er aprikos & mandler. Litt syrlig ettersmak.

Poured from a tap. Hazy yellow color, medium white head. Nice lip smacking tart sour taste with a very clean finish and a cedar accent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2014 Pours a cloudy amber with a big fluffy white head. Spicy notes on the aroma and bready yeast taste with a slight tartness. This is a great and unique saison/farm house. I prefer their old more sour recipe and I’m glad they still produce the sour versions of this.

On 06/18/2011. Clear golden body with a small creamy white head. Sweet fruit and spice aroma with some caramel. Tart fruit, slight astringency with spice and caramel. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

No bottle date. Said to be older, sour version. pours a nice hazy apricot ale with three finger of white foam. This falls and when I breath in, I get guava, guava, banana, and some sweet alcohol (like an amaretto). Nice nose. Really nice nose. Bitch be tart, nice. Some lemon, guava, hints of hay and yeast. I really like this beer and feel ill equipped to give the flavor justice. The beer was initially a little hi in carb, but fell to appropriate. Delicious beer. I heard they took the sour/funk from this. Too bad. Serving type: bottle 01-08-2012
