3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
750ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Vika and cellared properly for more than a year. Shared at a rating session back home. Muddy apricot coloured body. Loose white head, poor lacing. Blended aroma of sweet fruits and pale malts. Rounded taste of sweet oranges with underlying yeasty fruitiness. Sweet and tart fruity ending. Well bodied. Just alright (Tromsø, 16.04.2013).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle thanks to Drowland ! Pours a deep orange copper color with a two finger sticky foam. The nose is very inviting with some bright tropical, citrusy notes that are backed by some sugary Belgian candi and spice in the background. The palate follows the nose nicely with an initial guava juice, lemony tartness that falls into a rounder more balanced round saison like midpalate. Nice belgian spice and a full round mouthfeel.... that lingers out and turns a touch fruity again on the very backend. Nice.

This is an interesting brew that must be delicately explored. The aroma is flat and bready until the brew warms and settles. Like most good fruit beers, there are no fake smells or flavors, just a faint melon flavor that gets better as it warms. Mouth feel starts out very thin and fills out a little with higher temp. What is this magical brew? And how does it completely change in 10* different temperature? Give it a try if you like different!
