Deep amber and orange color, with good white head that is fairly uniform in bubble size. Great lacing on the sides of the tulip glass. Nose is well balanced between sweet citrusy hops and tangy/earthy hops. Taste is much like any other decent IPA but a touch sweeter. I’m not picking up on any of the spice notes. Not quite what I was expecting. For the price of $7, definitely worth the 750mL.

750ml bottle. Pours orange, white foam. Smells fresh, fresh juice, citrus nose. Tastes of pale malts, sharp hops. Crisp, white oak finish. Good. (3839)

Bottle shared during the Foothills BA Sexual Chocolate release. The maple gives a nice sweet malty backbone. Slightly spicy and resinous.

Bottle pours slightly hazy orange with generous yellow head. Hoppy citrus aroma. Interesting malty taste with spices and apricot, some citrus. Finish pine hops and wood which I guess is the maple. Full palate with medium carbonation. Very drinkable pleasant IPA.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/16/2013. Pours very hazy deep orange amber color with a 2 finger dense cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, pine, grass, herbal, honey, light caramel, light wood, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with a moderate malt, spice, wood balance; and good strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light pepper, honey, bread, light caramel, light wood, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, grass, pine, honey, bread, light caramel, light wood, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of citrus hop flavors; with a moderate malt/wood/light spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, lightly creamy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice IPA. All around nice complexity and balance of hop, malt, and light wood flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours cloudy orange with a lacy head. It smells strongly of hops and citrus. Smooth on the palate with a tangy afterbite.

Enjoyable. Nothing really stands out at first. Like most CCB beers, it's technically great. Good balance, excellent carbonation. Right amount of bitter hops. Flavor is mostly wood and some herbs. Not much citrusy or floral. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample from bottle thanks to GT2. Orange pour, off white head. Fruity, bread, a bit of spice, citrusy hops, caramel, and light oak. Kind of messy and overripe.
