UPDATED: JUN 18, 2012 Bottle @ Matt’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks Armin! Hazy, orangish golden appearance with a big fluffy, off white head. Quite herbal, floral, light woody, a bit citrusy aroma. Tangy, floral, chalky, light citrusy, herbal, paper flavor.

12 oz can. Orange amber body with lots of sediment in the glass and a small white head of small bubbles. Caramel oak and grapefruit hops along with distinct caramel in the aroma. Sweet malts in the flavor mixed with wood chips, grapefruit rind a lingering bitterness. Delicious and refreshing.

From notes. Tasted some time near the summer of 2012 from a capped 750mL bottle. Pours light orange with an average white head that leaves average, sticky lace. The nose is resin bitterness with tons of grapefruit peel and a malty maple characteristic. The flavor seems a bit disjointed with not much on the front and aggressive hops and baking spice bitterness on the back. The body is medium with lively carbonation and a long, very bitter finish.

I got this 12oz can as a trade extra. It says CCB on it and Homefront IPA but it says special edition so I’m not sure if this is the right place to rate it or not? Can was silver and plain looking, nothing like the pic on here. Pours a hazy orange with fluffy white head. Lots of white chunks in it and can was canned in May. Aroma was malty, wood, orange, and musty. Taste was a malt bomb, sweet but yet very sour as well. Did get some orange and wood notes as well. Wasn’t impressed, but again, it was 90 days out from canning so who knows.

12oz can. Color is of the standard Cigar City IPA. Nice, bright and orange. Nice citrus hops with vanilla lingering in the aroma. Assume that came in from the baseball bats. CCB makes another good IPA.

12oz can pours a slightly hazy, dark orange with some lacing, fluffy white head. Loads of chunky sediment in the glass too. Sat in my fridge for a while too. Nose has malt, the slightest hint of birch, orange rind, some mild grapefruit, a little soap. Flavor is sweet, sticky, orange, soap, grapefruit, a little unripened stone fruit. Finishes a little sticky.

12oz can canned on 05/20/14 via trade with djd07. Poured a medium density deep orange marmalade body under a foamy brighter white head. Aroma of orange slices, wood, toast, chaff, tangerine, yellow grapefruit. Good body, refreshing, medium bodied, softer carbonation, delicate and quocker fading bitterness on the end. Flavor is spicy, cinnamon stick, cinnamon bread, dry toast, citrus rind, oranges, tangerine. Good stuff.

Hazy orange of color with a white head. An aroma of citrus, spice, cucumber peel, fresh, wood and grass. A flavor of hops, citrus, spice, dry, bitter and grass.

Bottle thanks to Homer! Pours hazy orange amber with a freaking huge beige head. Pain in the ass to pour, and the head actually has decent creaminess and dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, pine, oak, oranges. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, oaky caramel, pine and vanilla. Medium body, interesting beer, not really getting much maple.

This one poured a bright orange color with a white head. Aroma was of orangey hops, grass, caramel, and maple. Flavor was bitter citrus Hood upfront, followed by light caramel sweetness and then finally a big maple finish. Pretty surprised the maple really came through on this one.

Cans. Pours a golden orange with a full white head. Aromas of candied orange peel and vanilla. Some citrus hops. Flavor is pretty similar, taste is bitter. Medium thin body. Ok carb level. Weird vanilla to it.
