12oz can courtesy of markwise. It pours with a copper body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a mix of pine hops and sweet maltiness where I’m getting a sliver of citrus hops off in the background. The taste delivers a nice mix of pine hop flavor and bitterness as well as snippets of citrus hops amid a thin river of a sweet malty base. Pretty nice IPA.

Not an IPA person but this one is ok. But not very good otherwise. One dimensional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Honestly, calypso isn’t my favorite hop varietal and this one may suffer from that. Aroma isn’t as fruity as the other dry hopped series. Same goes as the flavor but this one has a bit more dryness and bitterness but not fruity. Either way, I dig the others.

Golden hue with creamy white head, decent lacing, smells la little doughy and yeasty, kind of dry, decent tang like citrus aftertaste, it’s alright

Awesome extra in trade. Pours rich golden with creamy small white head. Smell is subtle hops on this 3 month old can. Kind of creamy smelling with a papaya/guava type fruity nose not typical of most IPAs. Taste is much more bitter than the nose would lead on. Kind of a sharp grassy almost pilsner like bitterness to the flavor with a subtle tropical fruit flavor and a bitterness that borders on medicinal/aspirin. Full body, but not syrupy or heavy with appropriate refreshingly prickly carbonation. Very Good IPA overall but the slightly aspirin like bitterness holds it back from being great, even though it does have a unique fruitiness to it that I like.

Sampled from a 12 oz an this beer poured a dark orange-caramel color with a huge creamy orange-white head that lingered left good lacing. The aroma was tropical fruits, tangy malts, honey, lemon and pine. The flavor was bitter pine, tropical fruits and sugar. Turns dry long the long bitter hoppy finish. Moderately full bodied. Nice.

Can sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond shop. Thanks Ariel. Clear to hazy amber with white film. Hoppy, spearmint, garlic powder that evolves into perfumed sweetness in the nose, mildly bitter and a little dry in the mouth. Medium body, long, bitter, oniony finish.

Violent bitter and drying IPA. Not aromatic, only chicken ass. The used Calypso hops is not good.
