UPDATED: FEB 6, 2014 Really heavy grapefruit pith, extremely bitter, not exactly bad but somewhat unpleasantly one-note. I was surprised by how little I liked this beer. Didn’t get any of the typical Citra tropical/stonefruit notes. Can: Substantial improvement, much more peachy character and just a way more drinkable specimen.

Can to snifter (shared with the Mrs; thanks burg326). Looks good; a hazy deep golden orange with foamy white head. Smells solid; juicy hops with a medium-bodied pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with a plant mouthfeel. A nice IPA.

12 oz. can thanks to Phatdog1, Thanks. Hazy gold with lasting head. Aroma is lots of citrus and tropical fruit even with a slightly old can.

Flavor is a bouquet of fruit without any bitterness. Taste of pineapple, mango, bready malt and hints of weak grapefruit. Medium leaning on full body and soft carbonation. This highlights the Citra hop very nicely. Wish I could have had this fresher, I adjusted the score slightly because I know a month old can has fallen a bit.

Cans from Total Wine in Boca Raton, FL. Poured into a snifter at home. Golden hazy pour with a thick white head. Great sporadic lacing throughout. Serious citrus aroma of orange, mango, lemon and lime. Hint of pine, grass and bread. The taste was similar with a slight dankness to it. Finish has a hint of citrus tartness. Medium light body, medium carbonation. Nice citra hopped IPA.

12oz can thanks to pineypower. Poured a solid hazy body of bright orange under a foamy white head. Aroma of sour juicy citrus juice, lemon and oranges, dough. Medium to slightly fuller body with average carbonation and an average duration on a bitter finish. Flavor is slight sourness over juicy citrus fruits, rind, bread crusts. Interesting but not sure where this sourness is coming from.

Pours hazy dark straw with off-white clingy head. Nose is juicy fruity hops, resin, black pepper. Tastes fresh, with juicy popping hops that explode all over your mouth and tongue, and a complex, smooth, juicy finish. This one is excellent.

Can (dated 1/8/2014) poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy apricot yellow color with three fingers of off-white head. Head fades moderately leaving some nice webby lacing. Aromas of grapefruit citrus, tropical fruit, floral notes, caramel. Tasting notes of citrus, floral notes, some grassy notes, pine, piney and citrusy hops. Medium body with a semi-dry bitter finish. Medium carbonation, juicy mouthfeel. Pretty tasty though I imagine the hops have fallen off a bit.

12oz can in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and fruity hops, some pale and lightly caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same with a nice strong hoppiness. Average texture. A good IPA.

Can->SA. Cloudy orange-gold with small white head. Aroma is strong resin, some citrus rind. Taste has tropical fruit, spices. Bittersweet. Slight AP. somewhat odd taste of bitter citrus juice. Quality, but more interesting than good.
