COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed and fermented in Puerto Rico, dry-hopped exclusively with Simcoe hops in the shipping container back to Tampa where it was canned at Cigar City Brewing. The voyage truly makes this a Caribbean-style India Pale Ale.

Pours a medium golden color with a finger of white sticky foam. Nose is a grassy, floral, lemon and a touch of stale hay. Palate is clean and lively. Nice traces of citrus, pine and a drawn out bitterness on the finish. Clean cracker malt like backbone.

Canned. As much as I love the Jai Alai cans, this wasn’t quite as good. Pours clear orange with a nice white head. Aroma is oranges and grass. Earthy, with some tea tannin and extremely bitter. Juicy finish.

Can at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Pours a deep orange with a nice white head. Aromas of floral grassy hops, citrus and bread dough. Taste is fucking bitter. Huge hop profile for a 7% beer - dry citrus and pine hops cling to the palate. Thick bread dough coming through. Once the palate adjusts it's super easy drinking. Solid ipa! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can thanks to beechner224. Pours a clear golden color with a slight white head. Aroma is mostly bready with a slight mango undertone. Taste is slightly bitter but has lost a great deal of the dry hops in a month and a half. Medium carb and medium body.

Can from Total Wine in Boca Raton, FL. Poured into a snifter at home. Deep golden color with a one finger white head. Good lacing. Aroma of pine, pine resin, citrus fruits and bread dough. The taste is initially pine and citrus turning to a bitter hop finish. Bread and cereal notes as well. Crisp, good carbonation. Medium light body. Lingering bitterness. Nice overall IPA from CCB.

Had this one out of the can. Pours an amber color with a nice fluffy head. This leaves a sticky lacing as you drink it. The use of dry hopping leaves a great floral flavor that is very enjoyable. This beer is well balanced and as usual, Cigar City produced another world class beer.

12oz can in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and slightly piney hops, some pale and caramel malts, a little fruitiness, and light dough. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness. Average texture. A pretty good beer.
