COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed and fermented in Puerto Rico, dry-hopped exclusively with Simcoe hops in the shipping container back to Tampa where it was canned at Cigar City Brewing. The voyage truly makes this a Caribbean-style India Pale Ale.

12oz can courtesy of Homer321 pours with a clear copper colored body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up citrus mixed with a bit of tropical fruitiness and then a razor thin edge of earthy tea. The taste isnít nearly as modest as it floods the senses with a bunch of malt sweetened grapefruit and tangelo citrus hop flavor that only gets more and more bitter with hoppiness to midway. Toward the finish it picks up resiny hops, a faint mineral note and then a pleasing earthy tea that isnít black tea leaves but somehow Iím getting an earthy red tea sort of thing. Nice one, lots of hops from flavor to bitter and plenty of depth and goodness. I dig it, regardless of what Geiger says.

Can at the Coffee District. Clear amber pour with a white head. Pine hop aromas. Tangy with somewhat bland pine hop notes. Decent body and mouthfeel. I donít really get the tropical fruit notes.

Can, dated 10/1/13, less than a month old. Thanks crajun! Pours a clear amber color with a small foamy head that quick fades to a ring but leaves some nice lacing. Aroma are tropical fruit, grapefruit, and a little pine. Taste is great. Nice sweetness up front and a moderate bitterness. Fresh citrus taste (especially grapefruit) but also a good amount of pine. Medium body, nice oily mouthfeel feel and just a tad sticky. Really good IPA.

Aroma is of citrusy and some tropical fruity hops, think mango, light pineapple and piney hops with some caramel malts ..... taste is of citrusy and tropical fruity hops, pineapple mango and piney hops with a nice kick of bitter bite .... definitely bitter and dry hopped big time with a lingering bitter bite .... decent stuff

Canned 12 days ago. This beer fucken LIFTS. pours a clear honey color with a large white head that lasts a while, giving you low carb in the beer once it settles. Aromas of urine. Taste is bitter upfront, supported by a huge malty backbone. Finishes semi-dry with a lingering cat piss bitterness. Very comparable to weyerbacher double simcoe. #partyin

Draft at Alla Spina with Pat. Pours a light orange body with white head. Aroma is pale malt, caramel malt, and muted hop. Mouthfeel is medium to light with notes of orange, wheat, grass hop, spice, grain and bitter hop. Overall, pretty boring ipa with a strong malt base. Iíd like to try this at the source to ensure freshness, because I really get no Simcoe character at all.

Draft at craft ale house. Pours clear yellow with a medium sized white head, light lacing. The aroma is fairly floral, piney, very light citrus notes. The taste is dry bitter, some tropical fruit, really long lasting bitter finish.
