COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed and fermented in Puerto Rico, dry-hopped exclusively with Simcoe hops in the shipping container back to Tampa where it was canned at Cigar City Brewing. The voyage truly makes this a Caribbean-style India Pale Ale.

Por from 12 ounce can at home. Pours an orange gold with white head. Smells and tastes of tropical fruit, caramel malt, and grapefruit peel. Overall nice taste with a nice appearance.

Can. Pours a hazy copper orange with a thin white head. Aroma was citrusy with grass, pine, caramel and fruit. Flavor of pine, caramel, grass, citrus, orange peel, bitter grapefruit, and fruity esters.

På burk @ Monks. Gylly färg. Doftar svagt av gräs. Smakar kryddigt och ett häng av beska.

Wasnt too excited about this one. Had this one right after the flagship, and i notably liked the other better. Dry and not much of a huge flavor profile for me.

Pours a hazy deep golden color with a healthy white head which disassembles oddly. First time I’ve ever seen lumpy head. Aroma is sweet, slight corn, malt tones. Taste is grainy bitter, little hop taste, malt and bitterness, slight earthiness. If you are a hophead this one is a pass. Very much a British style IPA.

Tap pour. Clean whiskey color in glass. Small nose. Mild gym sock. Tropical fruit. Maybe I let this sit too long before taking notes. Not a lot else going on. Taste is dry. Dry cracker malts offset with melon. Sine tangerine brightness. Drinkable, but underwhelming.

Draft. Dark Golden. Aroma of floral hops. Dry bitterness. Bitter finish. Slight mint. Smooth. Average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

4/4/14. Was excited for this until I read what it was. Cheap can. Cheap idea. Average IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark straw pour with off-white head. Nose was funky, feety, cheddar cheese, black pepper, fruity, and spicy, Tasted complex, with that awesome fruity funky Simcoe flavor, and a complex finish.

Hazy amber pour with floaties in suspension. Lots of fluffy head. Aroma isn't huge, but I'm stuffed up so it could be me. Flavor is subdued as well. This is essentially Jai Alai with a little less complexity. Palate is frothy and full. Sweet but balanced. Nice beer.

12 oz can poured into a pint. The pour is a nice light coppery gold color with a decent, quick fading white head and some gorgeous lacing. The aroma is big on citrus and hops. There is a touch of sweetness and a little bit of pine on the back end. The flavor is just as good. It's got a good boom of bitterness on the front. And then the blast of hops and citrus. The mouth feel is a little thin, but it coats the mouth beautifully. The aftertaste also lingers and lingers with a bitter hoppiness that I love. This is a solid IPA! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
