Draft @ CCB. A Black beer with a dense beige head. Heavy cedar wood in the nose, also big roasty earthen notes, dark cocoa, and slight coffee. Medium body with a smooth mouth feel and ample carbonation. The flavor starts with big spicy cedar notes blended with hard roasted malt, and dark chocolate, very earthy with mild sweetness. Finishes slightly dry and spicy.

Draft at Cigar City tasting room. Pours a dark brown color with a small tan head. Odd yet interesting aroma. I kind of liked the flavor mixture but it was a bit heavy on the cedar notes. Still though, it makes for an interesting beer.

POurs black, think tan head. Nose is huge wood, cedar spice, roast and smoke. Flavor is overwhelming amount of cedar, sweet sugars, smoke and roast. A bit to cedary for my liking.

On draft at Cigar City. Pours a darkish brown with an off-white head. Nose is cedar, spice, roast, some earth, ash, and some dark chocolate. Flavor is similar- cedar hits first, then earth and ash, followed by some dark chocolate notes, and the ash and cedar finish out the flavor profile. A bit thinner than the regular Patio Tools, but it is spicy and finishes dry. Interesting take on this style.
