This is one GABF Gold Medal Winner that deserves the recognition. Smooth without excessive hop bite, fragrant with notes of tobacco and cedar, this is a wonderful session beer that would go fabulously with all kinds of foods. Lace follows your swig all the way down.My suggestion: A Humidor IPA and an Ashton Churchill, EMS, 54 ring gauge,

On tap at Varga, fairly clear orange pour, little head retention, piney scent not very hoppy, more like I’d expect from a standard pale ale or pilsner

On tap at Rattle n Hum, poured a bright orange color, small white head. Lacing was pretty darn impressive. Aromas of cedar, grass, fresh cut lime, and other tangy hop aromas. Taste was mostly the same with a nice woody complexity, pineapple and tobacco flavor. Amazing IPA. Wish they would make this more often in bottle form.

Pours a deep, slightly cloudy orange with a moderate white head. Aroma is citrus, hops, and a touch of sweet fruit. Flavor is super smooth, big on citrus hops and has a fine bitter-sweet finish. Excellent stuff.

Citrus and corn-sweet aroma. Golden in color with white head. A mild IPA with a nice citrus edge.

Shared by turdferguson. Pretty interesting beer. Nice nose and all, fruit definitely in there with a nice hop element. Flavor gets kind of weird, fruit kind of muddles things and the fermented papaya gets to be off.

Bottle from the Brewdog online store. Cloudy orange pour with an off white head. Tangerine and mango dominate the nose. There’s certainly a tropical fruit air about it. Pineapple and citrus flavours. Bitter fruit infusion. Smooth and nicely balanced. Dry, bitter finish. Nice.

Draft. Woah. Poured a orange color with a small thin but solid white head. Aroma was, well, like a humidor. It was really like a cigar. The flavor was more like a herbal tea with a load of hops that had been aged in a wooden barrel. A unique beer to be sure.

75cl bottle. Lots of cedar in aroma and flavor, and hops take a back seat. Modest sweetness and a medium fruitiness. Seems slightly oxidized, but was purchased only a month ago. Nice amber hue. The wood adds a little tannic bite, but goes down pretty smooth overall. Nice beer, but not my favorite IPA.

Sampled at the Cigar City smokes Rattle n Hum event. Awesome addition to the humidor series. Has a peppery tang from the cedar which is cut by the guava. Amazing brew.

Bought a 6 pack, first one was relatively warm (hotel room in the Keys sans refrigerator). Very tasty, pleasant strong bitterness. Other reviews cover it well - piney, citrus, hoppy, strong. Only flaw: sometimes has a metallic taste. Very good when it does not. Malt: caramel, nuts Hops: herbs, pine, resin, citrus, lemon, grapefruit Other: cherry, ginger, peach Color: amber, orange Liquid: clear Head: white, frothy, minimal Initial: heavy bitterness Finish: heavy bitterness Finish Duration: long Body: medium Texture: creamy, slick Carbonation: soft Finish: bitter
