Incredible IPA. Great nose with a little cedar funk on the nose and back to the aftertaste. Very silky mouth feel. Interesting taste that is not over hopped but has a great presence. Very nice

On tap 4 oz. sampler at the Cigar City Brewing tasting room in Tampa, FL. Clear, bright medium amber with a pale khaki head and excellent lacing. Aroma of caramel, cedar, pineapple and tropical fruit. Tastes a cedar chest with some caramel and pineapple managing to get through. To my palate, the cedar pretty much overwhelmed the IPA flavors. Medium/full body and low/medium carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle, thanks to voodoofish65usf. Bottled 11/07/13. Mostly hazy clear orange color, with lots of flaky yeast particles swirling in the body. Good thin khaki head, with good retention. Leaves great, thicker lace. Some interesting, woody, kind of spicy cedar wood aroma. Very complex. Smells kind of like a humidor, really. Bigger bitter taste, light sweet. Some grapefruit zest. Bigger body. Smooth, crisp carbonation. More dry finish. Easy to drink for a very hoppy, bitter IPA. Fantastic, fascinating tasty wood-aged IPA. Cedar and grapefruit play very well together.

Bottle from Homer321, thanks man. Pours a nice orange with minimal head, aroma is straight up wood, flavor is dry wood, its like I’m licking a block of untreated wood. Really not what I was expecting/hoping for. Florida homers got this to 100? Wow, impressive. I have another bottle I’ll try and rerate if necessary.

Bottle to pint (thanks tastybeer). Looks good; a mostly transparent orange with thin white head that dissipates into thin lacing fairly quickly. Smells and tastes solid; cedar first and hops second. Average on the palate. Good, but a bit strong on the cedar.

In bottle: Humidor series is a great name for this beer. The smell totally reminds me of going to a good cigar shop.. Nice spicy yet earthy aroma. The color is light copper. The taste is great.. Spicy.. Woody.. Great sweet malt base that fades to the cedar spice on the tip of the tongue.

This is by far my favorite IPA, pours a copper color with a one finger white head. Smells of hops, pine and grassy there is some caramel undertones. Taste is glorious there is the hop character a load of grassy and fruity (grapefruit maybe) followed by a bit of the spanish cedar, smoaky, spicy, caramel hard to describe. Finish is not bitter at all which I found as a pleasant surprise.

Pours a rich copper color with a fluffy sticky eggshell foam. The nose is woodsy with sweet caramel malt, pine, grassy hops and deep spicy cedar peaking through. The palate is complex with nice layers that flow smoothly along the palate. Great fruit from the hops mingle with a deep spicy cedar profile that lingers out with nice complexity. Vanilla, toasted malt, pine...

Tap at ccb, tampa. Clear amber color, white head. Aroma is weird, from humidor? wood, ash, cigars, fruity. Taste is pure ipa, hops, fruits, little woody and ashy twist.

12oz bottle pours dark semi-clear copper with small finger of head. Nose is juicy melon and orange, dank malt. Taste is malty orange, juicy tropical fruit, melon. Finish is medium bitter, malty citrus. Average.
