Wow this is a interesting IPA. Itís a deep amber color, has a bunch of lingering sediment giving it a slightly hazy look. It has a pleasantly sweet aroma with hints of wood and pine. The taste has a good piney bitterness to it. As it lingers there is a slight spice that comes through as well as the cedar flavor. Finishes on the dryer side. Quite tasty and different.

If you like cigars and Spanish cedar as a tasting note, youíll love this brew. Pours a nice amber color, slightly hazy, with white head. Cedar, flowery notes, citrus, and pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. The cedar is very pronounced on this beer, and pairs it extremely well with a cigar or without.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2014 Pours somewhat hazy dark golden with half finger of wispy head. Nose is lots of grapefruit, floral hops, cedar, I totally get the humidor Spanish cedar cigar box note. Taste starts off with grapefruit and citrus, then I get a ton of cedar and wood, then we get that bitter grapefruit peel and woody cigar box on the finish, also I get cinnamon and more cedar in the aftertaste. Balanced between the bitter grapefruit peel and he sweetness of the fruit, and a lot of cedar and wood smoothing it out. Very cool take on an ipa. Sweetens and fruiter as it warms. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from the can into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a deep amber-copper color with tons of noticeable, cloudy sediment throughout, and a very large foamy-creamy off-white head with great retention, and excellent lacing and cling. The aroma was a blend of citrus and floral notes, with some grain and yeast, all set within the sweet, woody, humidor scent. The beer was fairly bitter with citrus and grainy notes, but also a modest sweet humidor flavor for a nice blend. It was a very lively beer with a good, filling mouthfeel, a touch on the watery-wet side, but with a dry finish and great carbonation.

Pours cloudy golden amber with considerable amount of sediment floating around. Mostly citrusy hops with a gentle wisp of cedar in the nose. The cedar is in your face in the taste and finishes dry and bitter.

Draft at World of Beer, Fort Myers. Poured like their Jai Alai, clear orange colored with a medium sized white head. Thatís where these two depart. Aroma was very interesting, I give them 5/5 on originality (if that were a choice to rate on). It smells like a humidor. It reminds me of being a child and passing by the Tobacco Barn every time I was in my local mall. It smells like I just cracked open a new box of cigars. It has that residual smell of my hands after smoking a cigar. However, all of that dominates the beer for me - it destroys whatever nuanced notes you get from the beer itself and replaces it with cedar. I love cedar. I donít know if I love a beer that smells and tastes pretty much like cedar. Iíd probably drink this one again, but I donít know if I can stand behind it as a beer. itself when placed up against their other offerings or other IPAs.

Pour from a can is a nice amber with a white head. Aroma is a subtle citrus with hints of flowers. Taste is a little sweet and tropical at first but goes down smooth. Leaves a nice citrusy after taste.
