Cloudy pale amber with a lasting off-white head. Oh, what an aroma! U/nique combination of spice and citrus! Lots of pepper, some orange and pineapple, and a unique touch of cedar, not unlike brettanomyces. Sweet and spicy flavour with lots of fruity hop chracter, and plenty cedar. Reasonably bitter with lots of wooden aftertaste. The sweetness could have been on the cloying side if I didn’t have to share the bottle...

Bottle from Whole Foods Tribeca. It pours hazy dark orange with moderate carbonation and a very thin off-white head. The nose is wood, orange, mango, apricot, humbug sweets and a little spice. The taste is tangy orange, mango, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, blackberry, wood, resin and a little alcohol warmth, with a long bitter finish. A really interesting and rather tasty IPA.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Big aroma of cedar wood and floral, citric and piney hops, maybe a bit stale. Hazy deep golden. Bitter flavor with light malt sweetness, lots of cedar wood and some piney hops. Finishes very bitter. Medium-bodied. Interesting. Maybe a bit past its prime.

Bottle, bought @ Skjold Burne, Aarhus.
Pours lovely, clear amber with a medium, nice creamy, slightly off-white head. Great lacings. Aroma has mild wood, apricot, white pepper, peach and sweet crispy malts. Mild, light prickly carbonation, great dry and light creamy palate. Flavour is very elegant and still quite complex. Very bitter, but the wood kinda soaks it up a bit and softens everything out wonderfully. Peach, white pepper, apricot, red apple. Long lingering bitter finish. Absolutely wonderful beer.
