3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Insanely cloudy burnt orange brown. Nose is full of grapefruit juice and spices. Very rugged taste. Like walnuts and tree bark. Spiced with pine and acidic grapefruit. It has a huge cedar finish that lingers for a while.

This has got to be one of the best IPAs I've ever had! The smell is a humidor! Taste has a strong cedar cigar wrapper flavor with hops! An amazing experience!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: AUG 3, 2013 So while I was in Tampa, I was able to try this beer. This is so good. I loved the sweetness of the Jai Alai, but this one was unique and different, but so good. Deeper amber color, creamy head. The aroma smells like a cigar room. There are some citrus/floral hops notes, but it is predominately cedar. The taste is very smooth. It might be too much cedar wood to drink too many, but this one was awesome.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Creamy head, amber color, great lacing. Smells like a humidor, some citrus note. Bitter but it is tempered by the cedar wood. The wood is prominent with tobacco which gives it a distinctly cigar-like character. Very cool beer, unique. Would not be my go-to IPA, but i like it.

What a great beer. Pours a slightly cloudy amber orange. Smells of cedar. Tastes of cedar while still maintaining an IPA identity.

A- Poured a gorgeous orangish brown with a small 1/2in head. Slighty hazy and when held up to light you can see small particulates floating around.
S- Cedar definately comes across and instantly takes me back to my childhood living on Cedar Street full of cedar trees. The cedar dominates the nose and the hop aroma is hard to find.
T- Cedar, Cedar, & More Cedar. there is so much cedar going on in this that i barely notice the hops coming across. Dont get me wrong though while the cedar is dominant it does not overpower this beer at all.
M- Sticky, resiny where the Cedar and hops on the end feel like they leave a residue that coats the mouth.
O- A. Definately worth Seeking out or trading for if your outside of FL. I will be searching for more of this as i feel it is comparable to White Oak Jai Alai IMO.

On tap at Cigar City tasting room in Tampa, FL. Of the ~15 Cigar City beers I had this week, this took the cake. The Spanish cedar aging is a first for me, but I will be doing trades for every single humidor series beer they make in the future. Definitely an all time favorite.
