COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Humidor Series is a rotating offering of Cigar City Brewing beer aged on cedar. Cedar has a more subtle effect on beer than more traditional woods like oak. But, we think that once you taste it you’ll agree that cedar deserves a place alongside oak in the brewer’s wood-aging toolbox.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma is very spicy - ginger and cardemomme, combined with notes of cedar wood and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of cedar wood, spices - ginger and cardemomme, oranges, on a malty back ground, leading to a dry spicy finish where the cedar wood note lingers.

Bottled, thanks baggio! Cloudy amber, creamy head. Rich cedar and grapefruit aroma. Mid-sweet with solid, vital malt. The combination o cedar and grapefruit is superb, the bitterness is evident, but nothing is ever assaulting - only relaxed yet concentrated. I’m so glad someone picked up this Japanese concept - especially someone as talented as Cigar City. This is probably the tastiest IPA I’ve ever had!

Hazy amber color; generous head. The aroma is very spice, with strong incense, and with some piney resins (no fruits). Strong caramel and toffee flavor, within a correct body; smooth, overcarbonated mouthfeel; medium residual sweetness; very resiny, with a sharp spices and incense profile. Strong bitterness, leading to a long final.
Surely original, and interesting the first time, but excessive.
