Tallahassee, Fl - Proof - on tap. Hazy dark orange pour, sticky off-white head that leaves nice sticky lacing. Fresh woodsy aroma, as if I am walking though a juniper forest. Flavor has extremely fresh bittersweet grapefruot squeezings, some hints of guava, a little bit of mint and a back end of cedar chips. Mouthfeel is nice and thick. Probably the best I have had from CCB.

On tap at cigar city. Pours a burnt orange with a medium white head. A bit of lace. Aroma is pine notes, aged cedar, citrus, with berries present ever so slightly. Taste is citrus with cedar. Pretty hoppy with bitter cherries on the backend. Excellent. Palate is medium mouthfeel with a smooth finish with a little stickyness. Overall this is another excellent brew from cigar city

IPA en notes força herbàcies. Un punt de tabac en boca. Per acompanyar un bon puro.

Tap at Rattle N Hum. Pale golden pour. Crystal clear pour. The nose is just awesome in here. Loads of rich sweet cedar and a touch of juniper pine and fruitiness. Rich and hoppy and very dry finish. Soft but insistent hoppiness. Creamy, herbal and delicious. The mix of juniper and cedar adds a bright resinousness with a lingering pininess from the hops that integrate incredibly well.

The aroma of cedar and citrus hit hard and pleasantly come through the nose. The appearance of a copper amber color with a bubbly white head. The flavor starts out light in body, not like an IPA at all, with a balance of the juniper and cedar subtly and pleasant at the end of the palate. The hops hit nicely later on in the flavor.

Dark amber and egshell. Notes of white grapefruit, dark fruit and a floral air. Slow building bitterness with a light sweetness. The wood worked well. Awesome brew.

On tap at Rattle N Hum for their Cigar City event. Pours a clear orange. Cedar, juniper, monstrous citrus and pine. Tastes like a hop candy, delicious. Aroma and flavor here are ridiculous. Not sure if objectively this was the ‘best’ beer of the event, but it was one of my favorites.

Bottle. Deep amber color, thick cream colored head with god retention. Aroma of Christmas, detectable from across the room. Taste is bitter pine resin, but not overwhelming. Very nice.

Tap at RnH. wow- one of my favorites of the night. I was really into this one since it was very unique, easy drinking and just tasted good to me all around. Pours a mostly clear copper with a thin lasting off white head. Aroma is big in the juniper and pine sap, but not medicinal or solventy, woody, earthy, leafy, berry, gin, wood, cedar oil. Flavor is light caramel, toast, sesame seed, birch bark, mint, wood, cedar oil, juniper berry, bark, and earth, pine sap, and finish is earthy slight oily, cedar and mostly dry with a lingering medium bitter hoppy and juniper finish. nice!

Tap @ Rattle n’ Hum. Have I already said I love cedar in beer? Poured a clear copper color. Floral and cedar aroma with big citrus notes in the middle. The flavor started with the citrus with the middle getting the cedar this time. Bitter hop finish. Dry with a very long bitter finish. Light to medium bodied.
