Hazy orange pour, thin orange head with good lacing. Nose is big fresh peaches, cedar. Taste is fresh peaches , cedar, hop resin. Lasting wood in the finish. Smooth, sticky mouthfeel.

32 oz. growler served in a Deschutes snifter. Thanks to TheAlum(I think) for the share. A: Pours hazy amber color with lots of sediment. A pure white head forms on the pour and recedes to a bubble ring. Some sticky lace is left down the glass. S: Wow, this smells like straight up peach juice. Not as fresh as peach flesh, but more of the sugary juice variety like orange juice. Light grassy hop profile is underneath with some light cedar poking out. T: More woody cedar notes come out in the taste and the peach flavor is as vibrant as the nose. Some pithy peach pit bitterness with dry herbal hops. Sweet malt body. M: Medium to light bodied with a medium carbonation level. Drying finish. O: The nose was better than the taste, but by far the best Humidor Series beer from CCB. I’d definitely enjoy this again. Serving type: growler

Growler. Honey colored pour with small white rim of head. Nose of citrus, hops, and a little sweet malt. Taste is nice with citrus, peaches, and touch of honey. Fairly thin on the malt but a nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Slightly hazy copper pour with a big foamy white head. Aroma is floral, peachy (of course), decent bit of cedar. The peach/citrus balances out really well with the cedar and pine hops - maybe not a big selling point for hopheads, but I liked the more muted hops bite. A little watery, though,

Growler poured a copper gold. Smell of peach. Taste was bitter and medicinal, tasted like they used peach syrup flavoring vs real peaches. I found this to be offputting and drain poured half the growler... Yuck

Backlogged rating (FoBAB 2012): Dark amber coppery hue with a frothy small head. The aroma has notes of fleshy peaches, some tart cherries and mangoes too, cedar wood, slight char and caramel. The taste is moderately fruity, acidic and ripe. Slightly woody, earthy and even a touch funky. Some caramel and bready malt background. Light handed bitterness and tropical influences. The mouth feel is sprite and refreshing, very dry finish. Overall it is very nice, not overly "peachy" but I would have liked to see more base beer character.

Tap at Cigar City. Clear rich orange pour with a soapy head. Peach, tangerine, and cedar. Really nice!

Sampled at FoBAB 10 - 2012 (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich copper hue, gentle haze, good glow. Frothy offwhite head dies to a film, laces ok. Aromas are peach fruit, wet cedar, spice, and gentle sweetness. More dry hoppy presence, cedar. Initial is gentle spirit, toffee and toast, dry bready malts, spiert barrel. Some cherry, toast, and peach. Middle shows sweeter peach, cedar, and toast. Some caramel and sweeter elements. Backend is a bit more dry, cedar-ridden, with a dryness, firm American hop quality, dry and almosty toasty feel from the wood and malts. Solid.

FOBAB 2012. I’m really happy to have finally appreciated a cigar city ipa. This one poured a lighter orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of tropical fruits and herbs, light cedar, and a ton of peaches. Taste was just as fabolous as the aroma, loads and loads of peaches, nice balcne from the hops to keep it from being to sweet, and light cedar notes too. Great stuff.

Nice ipa here. Big peach, huge woodsy notes form the cedar, slight bit of "funk" but enjoyable overall.
