This beers amazing!! Dry hopped pint at the brewery. Deep golden amber with light off white head. Nose is caramel malts and hops, citrus and a little spice. Flavor is amazing, hops come right through, citrus. Bold amber and caramel malts with good cedar background. This beer is great all over.

Wonderful, citrus-infused aroma, great hoppy taste, mild bite. Good to pair with seafood.

Growler shared by Jeff. Pours a reddish amber with beige colored head. Aroma is very notable, floral and citrus. Taste takes those same notes and builds upon them with a malty base.

One of my all-time favorites. Very surprised this red ale had such a full body. I just wish this was available in New Jersey.

Pours a mahogany color with a tan head. The smell is roasted malt, citrus, cat urine. The taste is citrus, roasted malt, fruit, caramel... Quit sweet. The body is medium with finely constructed carbonation. Though a bit sweet it is nice and tasty.

Draft at brewery as "Humidor Red". Hazy red pour, tan head. Decent retention/good lace. Aroma of cedar, toffee, citrus. Taste is bitter, big cedar, citrus, toffee. Palate is dry, soft, oily, bitter finish.

Tap at CCB thanks to tastybeer. Pours a full haze, murky red with nicer beige foam. Nose is big cedar, black peppercorn seasoned tomato, odd cough syrup medicinal, alka seltzer, cherry juice box. Taste is spicy, heavy cedar, nutty hops, pine. Palate is bitter, denser. Solid.

Tap. Pours hazy to cloudy red amber, medium beige head, creamy, great lacing. Aroma is caramel, toffee, wood. Flavor is medium sweet caramel, cedar, little bitterness, a touch of astringence, bitter shows up on finish. Full body, super creamy

I will learn to not order one of these humidor series one day. The base beer is covered in a straight up cedar taste. Mech stronger than normal Spanish cedar actually used in humidors. This smells like the cedar used in construction. The aromatic cedar that you would not want to put in your mouth. And with good reason. The aroma was a bit misleading. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cigar City Dry Hopped Humidor Tocobaga Red Ale was something I had high expectations for since I line the regular Tocobaga Red Ale, but the dry hopping is just too much. Not much aroma; nice red pour. The bitterness from the dry hop washes out the roasted malt flavors one looks for in a red ale. The bitterness lingers on the palate. I’ll stick to the regular Tocobaga.
