3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap flight at the brewery. Glowing brown pour with garnet hues. Huge off white head that takes about 5 minutes to settle. Heavy lacing all over the glass. Aroma is hoppy. Taste is unique. Starts off with rye spice and then an unpleasant plastic flavor followed by citrus and then resin hops. Very mild alcohol heat on the gum line. Interesting.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours murky dark amber with tons of sediment floating around and a tan head. The aroma brings the hops and the unique spicy rye notes all over the nose. The flavor of sweet resin malts begins and settles on the tongue, then bring the almost quarter percent rye malt flavors in to dominate the palate. The hops aren’t overbearing, but work well with the rye.
