COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ORIBA is dark brown in color with a complex nose displaying notes of pine, citrus, chocolate, rye, dark caramel and slight notes of wood. We use over 10% Oats in this beer to give it a silkier mouth feel and we pack over 24% of 3 different rye varietals to achieve a complex, spicy rye character. Of course we can’t help but balance it all out with lots of American hops.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2010 Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours an almost clear amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh citrus and peachy hops in the nose. Medium body, sweet fruit and peaches from the aroma hops that also leave a fresh and bitter hoppiness in the finish.
NOTE: we were informed at the tasting, that this was a trial brew of "Improvisación IPA" which is different from the Improvisación (Oatmeal Rye India Brown Ale) listed here. But apparently the IPA version would be released later. Please move my rating by then. 060610

Bottled@omhper. Hazy deep brown colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is chocolate, fruits, some slight yeast, mild wood and herbs. Flavour is zest, chocolate, mild toasted notes as well as some ryebreadlike notes. Underlying fruityness all the way through as well. Quite interesting brew.

Bottled, thanks baggio! Hazy nut brown, small beige head. Complex aroma where nothing really stands out. Chocolate, orange and wood are there. Mid-sweet wit soft yet solid mouthfeel. Caramel, chocolate, marmelade, roastiness and menthe are flavours I pick up from this well integrated beer. The bitterness keeps growing. Quality all the way!

Beautiful light amber color; small creamy head. The caramel and hop aroma is partially fruity and peppery. Round mouthfeel, sweetish toffee flavor, with strong hopping, not very fresh. Strong final, more resiny than the rest.
