Good hop presence without too much bitterness. Great aftertaste with citrus flavor. Fairly light bodied but with nice malt balance. Another good cigar city brew!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
New Beer Distributors, NYC can ($2.25): Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is somewhat citrus, but has a sort of stale element that detracts from the quality. Taste is citrus. Very juicy. Not very bitter, but the hops linger into the aftertaste. Easy drinking. Not at the level I expected a Cigar City beer to be at.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Crowler from the brewery via Christine (thanks!). Fairly dank, cat pee, grapefruit, melon, Simcoe hops, light malt support, lightly sweet with moderate bitterness and a honey and fruity finish. Not entirely my cup of tea due to the hops.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz can poured into a Boston lager glass. It pours a light golden color with a beautiful white long lasting head. It has a dank hop aroma along with a mango, orange and general fruit salad aroma. It tastes almost like a west coast IPA. I taste orange and tropical fruit, a hop dankness, resin and a little floral flavor. The bitterness is pretty close to perfection. This is one of the best, if not the best pale ale I have ever had. I would drink this regularly if it were available in Georgia.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared 12 oz. can poured to snifters, showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a modest, but fleeting layer of soft white head foam, and spots of lacing. The nose was a bit of dankness & funk, with wet grain & hops, and some ripened pit fruit. Light bodied, with fair carbonation, but mainly washed out flavor with just a tinge of orange, and modest bitterness. Shooting for sessionable, but not very impressed.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz can. Bright clear orange, with a thin layer of soapy lace that clings to the glass. Aroma is bright floral hops. Sticky chewy hops and sufficient malt to carry the delicious hops. Very tasty.
