3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler from Cigar City. The pour is a slightly murky gold with a flimsy white head that leaves a spot of lacing here and there. There’s a floral and citrusy aroma with a touch of grass as well. Pineapple stands out with perhaps some mango and coconut. This is light in the body and easy drinking with crisp citrusy and grassy hop flavors. Once again, I’m getting quite a bit of tropical fruit here that seems centered around pineapple. Bitter and dry towards the back end with a grassy and herbal character. There’s some slick sweet malt support but not at all hefty allowing this to go down rather easily and quickly. Maybe it won’t wow but this is really solid stuff here.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft at Cigar City, pours a liight cloudy yellow color, aromas of light citrus, touch of pineapple, light pine, and some sweet malt. Flavors are light sweet citrus with a light hop bite, light bitter aftertaste. A solid pale ale in my book.
