32 oz mini-growler from Redlight Redlight. Lightly hazed amber with a spongy off-white head that leaves lacy rings. Nose is orange, white pepper and pine. Medium light but substantial with a brisk carb bite. Taste is citrus peel, pink grapefruit, tangerine and kiwi. Dry and spicy finish. Wonderfully fruity and zesty and maybe the most distinctive IPA i’ve sampled.

Draught @ Mr. Dunderbak’s, Tampa, FL: The bartender told me this was a relatively new offering from a relatively new local brewery, figured it was worth a try. Pours clear, orange, nice foamy white head. The aroma is heavy in those common hop notes - citrus and pine, a great blend with just a hint of that malty sweetness in the back. Those hops come through strong in the taste with a refreshing lemon/orange alongside a biscuity note and some slight caramel malting. A fairly traditional, well done IPA.

A golden amber IPA with a thin light moka head. In aroma, wonderfully fragrant hops, full of citrus pulp, pinhey, so classy! In mouth, a well balanced IPA with good malt base, smooth floral hops, grapefruits, not in your face, medium bodied. On tap at Peg’s Pizza Cantina, Dec. 12 2009.

Crushed with Honkeybra at GABF. One solid IPA. I flipped over the cedar one, and this one isn’t as good, but it’s still fuckin excellent. Best IPA I tried at the festival for sure.

Growler fill from Bellport Dave’s!
Deep, copper/ruby hue. Visually enticing. Off white head clears rapidly with some lacing. Prevalent hop scent of pine and citrus, but not overwhelming. Slight malt nose in the background. "Candylike".
Great hop character with great malt balance. Not "gimmicky". Sweet. Nice bitter finish, slightly scrubbing to the palate but not harsh or dry.
Reminds me a lot like Squall though more reserved.

On tap at Liberty Street Tavern in Allentown. Poured a clear copper color with a white foam head. Aroma of floral hops and caramel sweetness. Very light sweetness and average bitterness. I like my IPAs hoppier than this. Good body and easy to drink.

on tap at Lizzy’s in Orlando, pours carmel straw color with a medium white head. Nice straw and hop aroma. Very nice IPA balanced with just enough maltyness and very dry in the bitter pine finish. I really enjoyed this, it’s a very easy drinker.
