3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap. It was a pretty standard East Coast IPA when all is said and done. Pours a hazy golden-orange with a small white head. Aroma is pine hops, citrus hops, and a bit of yeast thrown in for good measure. Taste is about the same, with a nice smoothness to the beer. Very solid, if not spectacular. I think their different variations of this with fruit are stronger.

The first time I tried a Jai Alai I was unimpressed. The next few times, the citrus pop of this beer hooked me for good. This is almost up there with stuff like Heady Topper and Pliny, but the malt is a bit too strong in my opinion, which lends the beer a heavy, sticky mouthfeel. Regardless, when I’m in FL, I’ll always have a fresh 6 pack of Jai Alai in my fridge. Awesome beer.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Like all highly rated and high dollar IPAs, this one is good. Nice color and thin compact head. Aroma is pear banana melon etc. Citrus punch but with a kind of buttery hit. Good stuff. I wish I could get to the brewery and try all CCs beers

Poured from can to glass. Honey hue with thick creamy off white head. Aroma is grapefruit, tangerine, melon, pine, lime, grassy. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and zesty carbonation. Taste is sweet initially with a bitter following that blends well into the finish. Overall this is a really nice brew.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A floral and mild clementine aroma. Appears clear pale copper with a ring of white foam and some lace. Taste is of reisling grape and grapefruit skin with a very nice sweet cereal malt backbone. Palate is a bit oily and a touch fizzy but nice. Overall, the attention to the malt in this IPA made it a great IPA.
