Dark brown with a toasty malt aroma, and light coffee. Earthy, toasty, lightly sweet, nutty...not as clean as I like my Baltics, and it has a lot of hoppy dryness. Decent brew.

Bottle pours dark brown/black with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet chocolate, molasses, nuts, and raisin. Taste is dry and sweet, chocolate, light coffee, and raisins.

Aroma of dark coffee, roast, and hints of cocoa and dark fruit. Pours black with little head or lacing. Taste is sweet of chocolate, coffee and slight tobacco. Great porter.

Tap at the brewery. Dark brown pour with a thin off white head. Big chewy malt body with lots of roasted grain, chocolate and licorice in the taste. Dark roasted chocolate aroma with lots of roasted grain notes. Big and ballsy brew.

Tampa, Fl - on tap at the CCB Tasting Room. Deep, dark black as night pour with a mocha colored sticky head. Aroma has some licorice hints, a bit of creosote as well. Flavor is very bold with the same licorice coming through,some rich black potting soil, a touch of black unsweetened coffee. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Tasty Brew!

A nice Porter. Chocolate and Coffee notes in the nose. It is very smooth yet full bodied.

Pours black with dark brown highlights and beige head. Little lacing, thick body, low carbonation, and roasted aroma. Taste is roasted malt with light hop finish. Enjoyable.

Nose was sweaty, chocolate milk funk and in that sense a dead on Baltic porter in the vein of the old Perkuno’s Hammer, which this reminded me of quite a bit. Chocolate flavors and a semi-dry finish with just a hint of roast.

3/13/12. On tap at the brewery. Black-ish pour with brown edges under a small tan head that fades to a ring, sticks, and laces in spotty sheets. Sweet, almost fruity aroma with bits of roast and ash. Rich, somewhat sweet flavor with a bigger kick of roast, more fruitiness, and touches of milk chocolate. Nice!

Dark pour, light brown head. Nice chocolate forward aroma, with some light coffee, ash, and tar notes. Flavor is smooth, cocoa, coffee, light hoppy notes. Damn good!
