Poured at CCB. Pours black, thin khaki head, very nice lacing. Roasty aroma, dark malt, dry grain, a little sweetness. Pretty roasty, nice light dark fruit, medium body, sweet lingering finish. Nice beer, good job CCB.

Draft… This beer rocks!… Pours mostly black with a small, creamy, mushroom-colored head. The bold, luxuriant bouquet furnishes plenty of singed malts intertwined with dark fruits and an enjoyable nuttiness. Full-bodied and oily with stinging carbonation. The flavor is sweet, but also charred - pouch tobacco, molasses, dark chocolate and black malt/espresso-like bitterness. The finale consists of a nice, burnt, bittersweet slow-fade. World class Baltic porter!

On tap at the source... Pours a deeper cola hued consistency with deeper reddish brown edges and topped with a medium khaki tan head that slowly reduces to a thicker ring around the edges if the glass... Sweet cocoa and moderate roasty malt component. Dark fruit surfaces late to coincide with the aforementioned... Flavors are not overly sweet with an earthy cocoa chocolate note to coincide with a meshing note of roasted malt. Again dak fruits come through late. Perfect amount of sweetness that never becomes overbearing. Dryness cuts through any lingering residual sweetness. Pretty nice.

Riktigt god.

I stort sett svart öl med ljusbrunt skum. Mycket rostat i doften samt lite laktits. En välbalanserad smak. Lätt sötma, men framförallt mörk bitter choklad och rostade smaker. En bra Baltic Porter.

First baltic porter, and it was damn good. The body was a cloudy black hue, and the head was nice and burnt too. Smelled smoky and earthy with a distinct cocoa scent all about. The taste was again, smoky but also malty and with a rush of chocolate at the end. VERY nice and drinkable.

On tap at CCB. Nose is big roast, smoke, some chocolate, and a hint of anise. Pour is dark black with a nice light tan head. Flavors are reminiscent of the aromas. Lots of roast and smoke with some mild chocolate. A hint of sweetness and hops balance this one out nicely. It reminded me of BBQ lays potato chips, ha. Great stuff.

Congrats CCB on the 1000th batch! Looking forward to several thousand more. On draft at Cigar City. Pours a dark brown/ black with a light tan head. Nose is some roast, some dark fruit, some mild anise, and some chocolate. Flavor is similar with roast, anise, dark fruit, chocolate, and extra baltics. Enjoyable baltic porter with a full body and little clue that this one is so high in alcohol.

On tap @ CCB. Pitch black with a sparse tan head. Tons of roasted malt aroma with some chocolate and smoke. Flavor is smooth and easy drinking with anise, pine, and roasted malt. Excellent!
