750ml big thanks to omegax - you da man, Jordan! Muddy copper brew with a slight tan head. Nose is complex and decadent - dark fruits, vanilla, oak, brandy, brown sugar sweetness. ABV is there but very well hidden - layers of flavor. Creamy, caramel, toffee, woody, brandy, so much going on. Another crazy well done Barely Wine from CCB.

Pours very thick not quite murky dark unclear pitch brown with a beige head. The aroma brings huge lightly sweet perfumey wine like malts with even some caramel and chocolate notes. The flavor is my favorite part bringing chocolatey caramel sweet malts so nice on the palate with a big malty but super smooth balanced sweetness bringing a beautifully huge and balanced BA barleywine.

[5/2/15] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015. 3rd session. Murky brown. Great aroma of bourbon, coconut, vanilla, cookies and some fruitiness. Sweet flavor with bourbon, vanilla, cookies, chocolate, a bit of fruitiness and a boozy note. Rounded mouthfeel.

Tap at CBC15! Pours a semi-clear dark brown with a small, off white head. Aroma has sugary, syruppy sweet caramel and cane sugar. Very sweet and very little barrel character. Taste is very sweet as well, but with a bit of tobacco, some more fruity notes and a hint of sweet apple brandy, but in general a little too sugary. Had higher expectations for this one.
