3fourths (8495) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 24, 2015
Cask. Cloudy gold with a short white head. Aroma is ginger and star fruit in the way that star fruit is watery and dull and tastes like vegetables leaves and not much else. Flavor profile is ginger spice and citric acid with creamy, low carbonation, touches of perfume-floral-soap in a lightly astringent finish. Medium-light bodied, medium sweetness with medium-high bitterness. Pleasantly citric and fruity but the yeast leaves it doughy and the malt seems masked.

Aurelius (4603) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 17, 2014
Almost clear, light gold with a thinnish white head. Faint aroma in a pint glass. Not overly bitter. Sweetish, floral citrus tones. A frothy, starchy mouthfeel. Quaffable, sturdy hot weather beer. On tap, Tucker Duke’s.

On tap at Cambridge for PBW. Pours a golden yellow color with white foam head. Light citrus aroma with some hop spice. Light, frothy sweet citrus taste with some spice for balance. Solid and sessionable.

PhillyCraft (3782) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2014
On tap, pours hazy orange with white head. Candy orange like the wizard the day before but not as sweet and artificial. As it warms you get some spice and Asian herbs on top of the tangerine/orange zesting. Pretty tasty glad it came in a 11 oz glass and not the 5’s like most of the event.

Draft. Golden pour with white head. Light citrus and spice, with some light hop tones. Citrus and light spice flavors.

The first sip I had of this was love. The more I drink though the more it tastes a little too sweet, almost like Orangina beer. Exciting new palate though! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Everything works in this beer. You can smell the orange peel up front. Citrus balance is perfect and then the white oak is a perfect compliment on the back end. The best citrus type beer I've had. A lot going on for a pale ale

Growler...Berliner Bash on the Bay 2013… Pours sparkling clear and golden with a fizzy, quickly dissipating, white head. The fruity aroma offers citrus peels and a whisper of pine. Medium to full-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is citrusy with subtle hints of resiny and rindy bitterness. Overall, this leans just a touch toward the sweet side of balance. Orange peel finish and lingering, rindy aftertaste. Growler courtesy of Burg326!
