Draft at RnH. Pours brown with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma with some vanilla notes. The flavor has vanilla, light roasty notes and a hint of chocolatey sweetness. Pretty good.

On tap at the Rattle ní Hum Cigar City event (thanks John). Deep brown pour with a red hue. Great aroma of vanilla extract, dark chocolate, and oak. More bourbon in the nose as it warms. Flavor has cigar box smokiness, sweet vanilla, and cocoa beans. A really nice roasty finish with a bit of smoke lingering. Cigar City is really twisting some of my previous conceptions of beer because they do a really stellar job of vanilla and bourbon aging.

On tap at CIgar CIty takes NYC event at Rattle íNí Hum. Raters at my table were not so oy-yoy-yoy about the vanilla, but I appreciated its edge and smoothness.

On tap at Rattle N Hum for their Cigar City event. Pours a hazy brown with a thin white head. Smells like Nesquick, and vanilla. Creamy and beautiful. Smooth, sweet and chocolaty. Long smooth vanilla and chocolate on the finish. Another one I could drink happily all day.

Appearance: Pours a dark red with a little froth. Aroma: Light vanilla and booze. Taste: Vanilla beer flavored water. Mouthfeel: Watery. Overall: Really not impressed. The Espresso Maduro is off the charts good, so if given the choice, go with that.

Growler shared by the Tampa crew. Pours a lightish brown; small beige head. Aroma is sweet vanilla bean as well as some caramel and toffee... but mostly vanilla. Even more so on taste... like vanilla extract. If youíre looking for vanilla, this is your beer. Not so complex, though.

One of a million CCB samples shared by the powerful Tampa Crew. Thanks for all the ratings Iím about to enter, Greg and Justin! Some of the Maduros Iíve had can be on the thinner, lighter side, and this is certainly one of them. Decent enough malty brown ale character at base, but the nose gives away a relative one-dimensionality here. The vanilla was just a bit too sharp, elbowing other things to the side rather than getting along with the malts.

Pours a light brown with a thing light tan head. Nose is sweet, malty, caramel, super vanilla presence, tad one dimensional. Flavor shows lots of vanilla, sweet, some grain astringency. Sweet palate. Vanilla dominated overall.

Growler from CCB.This stuff is great, its my favorite flavored Maduro so far. The vanilla is definitely but its not over powering.
